I am John, a regular customer. The staffs are very friendly and kind. There is a lovely staff always greeting my name whenever she meets me at the store. However, I had a bad experience at the store today. I was at the store from 2:15pm to 2:45pm today. I ordered a quad expresso with stirred white mocha pumps and EXTRA half&half cream as usual. However, it was bitter this time and the drink was filled just half of the cup. I was supposed to just take and leave but I couldnāt stand the bitterness. After looking through the label, I figured out they put only regular half&half cream, not extra. That might make my drink bitter. I told the barista and she said that it was the way the store made it. I thought we might misunderstand, then I showed her the drink label and the recent orders to identify the difference. However, she still kept saying that was the way store made it again and again with an attitude. I felt annoyed because I ordered here timelessly and I know how it should be and it was wrong amount this time. I stayed for a while because I didnāt know how to deal with that. Luckily she accepted to make it again as my request to put an extra half&half cream and add more ice to fill the cup. And finally bingo, I have the same flavour as usual. I realised I was not wrong for this one but I received an attitude without any apology. I was not really happy to have my drink anymore after going through all this experience. I donāt know why it was so hard to have my regular drink this time. I tried to talk with manager about it but I couldnāt reach to them, then I write it here. I know the store is busy sometimes and we might make the mistakes. However, the staff would rather pay attention more to customersā demand and tackle solutions than only keep giving them explanations. It might save your time in peak hours. It was because of the cost plus tip, I'm cheap. There was always a giant line-up that went out the door. The staff inside wanted nothing to do with socializing with customers, and they pushed us through like livestock, fake smiles and fake laughs at my jokes and then silence as a line of angry people waiting got angrier that i was holding up the queue! Then one day i discovered another Starbucks location inside a grocery store in the same mall, where the l8nes were short, the staff was friendly and REAL! Like we really connected, it wasnt all fake smiles and if one of the staff was having a bas day they would tell me, and i would sometimes spend 15 minutes talking about it with them, there was no lighthearted surface chit-chat, these were real people with real life problems and joys, just like me, and i really appreciated that i could be real with them too, and have a real ear listening to me, who didnt view me as cattle holding up the line. And that, is where my Starbucks addiction came from, its not the coffee, its the employees (at this one location inside Tillicum Malls Save-On, i cannot give them enough Praise! But, all the other locations are trash and will never compare to the friendships i made at that little grocery store...

The redos were worse than the first one. Not going back to this location in the afternoon. However, the morning staff is usually excellent. I recommend the Jitterbean cafe down the street if its afternoon. Order a coffee with cream and you'll recieve a nice tan coloured coffee as it should be, not some dirty puddle water.
