Possibly the worst “Chinese” buffet? I honestly think to call the food served here Chinese food is an insult. They had a very limited selection of menu items. Missing any type of classic entree (beef and broccoli, chicken sir fry’s, white rice). Many things on the buffet were also mis-labeled. Every single protein was over cooked, general Tao (a least that what is was labeled as) was unrecognizable, sweet and sour sauce was more sweet than sour and unrecognizable in colour, the egg and spring rolls were obviously pre made but not even fried right (cold or vey wet in the center), in fact all the food in the buffet was served luke warm or cold even when I managed to get Buffett refill straight from the kitchen, there were prepackaged pastry’s (pies and cakes) for dessert, the “blueberry” pie was the constancy of a bean pie, very strange, and the ice cream was also awful ) it was hard to tell what flavour we were eating exactly (was it green mint! Pistachio! Almond or some weird fruit?) 25$+ for a dinner buffet is pretty steep considering the quality and selection. I think they must stay in business due to there not being another Chinese place within 50-100km. Positive…. The staff was efficient at clearing the tables, however they sat everyone in the restaurant very close together despite have a very large...
Read moreBy the size of the place and the price, I expected a lot more. Instead, the actual buffet is only two very short rows with only a few options. Food is ok, nothing extraordinary. It's crazy to think that this is what $29.99 will get you nowadays. When you add the tip and the fees, it's comes down to $39.66! 40 bucks for ordinary chinese food is insane. 5 years ago, before covid, you'd pay 15 bucks all included for a place like this.
When it comes to the physical place itself, it has tables in 45 degrees, so they can pack more of them together. Its almost impossible to walk to the buffet without hitting other peoples tables and chairs. Not a big deal, but it's annoying.
Service isn't good either. You have to call the waiter several times for him to finally come at your table. To be fair, the place was packed. Which turns all this into something even more sad. People have already accepted that this is the...
