Even if you're not staying at Le Grande Lodge, please have breakfast here. The buffet was varied, with fresh, ripe fruit, delicious hot breakfast entrees and breads. The best was the very professional, friendly chef who worked at the omelette/French toast/pancake station. Those pancakes were unbelievable, drizzled with the sugar cream syrup. Great coffee to boot! I wish we hadn't waited until our last day at the Lodge to attend! We also had a marvelous light dinner the night before overlooking the lake at the Whiskey Bar (very reasonably priced for the quality). The chef obviously puts his soul into his food. Terrible service based soley on how i look. Doesnt want to sit me, will scoff when i ask for a patio seat. The meal order COMES with bread. But i have to ask for it still. Read moreThe breakfast, is the worst breakfast I ever had in an hotel for my entire life. And it doesn't come cheap. I love the hotel, but nothing is good in this breakfast. I would recommend hotel owners to shutdown the breakfast activities or rethink it completely. Quality of food is bad, orange juice and coffee is also bad.
