This is easily one of my favorite golf courses I’ve ever played. It’s not cheap, but considering the green fees include your cart, access to the driving range to hit free golf balls, and playing on this world class course, it’s definitely worth it. My son loves to golf and it’s free for kids after 3pm. So for the same price as it costs me to take my son to UFO, we can play on a world class course and get free driving range balls. If I was to include a bucket each for us at UFO, Le Diable actually ends up being a lot cheaper.
The location is one of the biggest selling points. Surrounded by beautiful tall pines lining the fairways, large sweeping bunkers that are the length of some entire holes, and the mountains and lakes in the background, it’s visually stunning. Bonus eye candy if you go in September or October and get the leaves changing colors (I included some pics of when we went during the fall)
As beautiful as the fairways are (and up kept wonderfully) and the well maintained greens that make you feel like you’re on the PGA tour. My favorite part is actually the little drives in between in the holes. Going through tunnels and up and down steep declines that aren’t for the faint of heart, the electric carts allow you to enjoy the peaceful serenity of the forest and really help you disconnect from your day to day life. I love golfing for the getaway aspect and when you golf Le Diable, it is easy to forget about the real world and fully immerse yourself into this golfers paradise.
Make sure you check in early so you can take advantage of the free driving range and if you don’t have clubs, you can play with beautiful up to date Taylor made clubs worths over $2,000 for around $40.
Worth the trip up to Tremblant just for the course, but if you’re already there on vacation, make sure you don’t miss...
Read moreWe a foursome travelled to Mt Tremblant to golf Le Diable on September 28, 2022. Firstly I want to state the staff at Le Diable are very nice, informative and professional so we as a group were very happy how the staff presented the golf course. The unfortunate part is a $140 CDN /person for 18 holes with a cart is not appropriate pricing for the golf experience at Le Diable. The course conditions were mediocre with some greens covered in goose droppings while some looked like they had some bug damage..fairways were Ok. Now given we are in September I expect some challenges to golf course maintenance however this does not give license to charging customers premium pricing for average course conditions. I will probable not return to Le Diable unless there is significant thought and action to repricing based on course condition or investment in course maintenance to ensure a quality golfing experience. For the record I have played two courses this year for half the price were course conditions were much much better. The course layout, vistas, and...
Read moreWent in really wanting to like this course, we’d heard great things and made a trip to tremblant specifically to play here. For the green fee ($160 - Sept. 29) we were really disappointed with the conditions. Fairways were very patchy with some spots completely unplayable, rough with bare dirt, bumpy greens, and the tee boxes seemed unkept.
The layout was fun, the scenery was nice, and it is a well designed course with lots of well placed bunkers. The waste bunkers were fun, but the fairway and green side bunkers were very poorly maintained. If they are going to play such a big role in how you play the course, they really have to be better kept, it’s almost guaranteed you’ll be hitting out of them a few times a round, and they were not in good shape at all.
Attached is a picture of the fairway I took, and there were other spots like it all over that for the price of the round, is not acceptable. This wasn’t marked as ground under repair either, as there were much worse spots all over that weee marked but I...
