After having made 3 visits here and sampled a variety of their offerings I can say that Les 3 Patapoufs is one of my favourite bakeries in Montreal. Their viennoiseries are to die for. I love the croissants, which are flaky, buttery delights. They donât make many every day so if you donât get there early enough they might be sold out of them. I can see where they would rather sell out of something than have left overs at the end of the day which need to be tossed in the garbage.
Now the real star of the show here are their pastries. Too many places just load everything with sugar to give something taste but not Les 3 Patapoufs! They use quality ingredients and focus on giving their pastries depth and variety of flavour. These are the kinds of desserts I love.
Prices are also surprisingly reasonable when you consider how much food costs have risen and how food service establishments have been forced to raise their prices to compensate for that. I very much feel like I am getting value for my money here.
In all an excellent bakery...

If you don't want to clean tables, just don't offer for inside. Caneli was so overcooked, that it was no possible to bite in. Coffee éclair, I'm coffee person and I love all éclairs, but those was disgusting. Latte had so much foam, that liquid to drink was only 1/3 of the cup on the bottom. To drink it you need to turn cup fully upside-down to be all in foam, and your coffee will come through. And we not talking that latte is coffee with frosted milk, but milk still need to be liquid, it's can't be...

Customer service was great. Employees are nice.
I found my coffee a bit bitter & water tasting, and it was too warm for a latte compared to what I normally get at other cafés. So I would not get a latte again.
The pastry, cheese cake with fruits was nice, but I didn't like the crust.
Kind of a cute spot... I think I would go back only if a friend wanted to and to maybe try a different...
