We got the pho dac biet (noodle soup with different cuts of beef), bun mam (fermented fish broth with fish, pork and shrimp), banh xeo (tumeric rice crepe with shrimp and pork), sinh to mang cau (soursop smoothie), and che ba mau (pandan jelly, coconut cream mixture, red beans and mung bean paste).
The pho had a yummy beef broth, generous meat portions, noodles were good too.
Bun mam had a strong fish flavor and rice noodles that are slurp-worthy.
Banh Xeo had a tumeric taste and it was fun to wrap it in the lettuce and dip it in the sauce.
Sinh To Mang Cau was sweet, cold and slighty tangy it was my favorite!
Che ba mau, was a classic sweet and milky dessert with contrasting textures.
Ambiance was great very spacious to have coats or bags. It feels like I can take my time to eat.
Staff is welcoming and love clients who try new things!
Price wise is not the cheapest but within the 13-18$ range but the quality and service explains it, so I would definitely...
Read moreWe've been looking for some authentic Vietnamese rice rolls in town, but not many still do them anymore. Banh Xeo Minh seems to be mainly specialized in rice rolls and they were excellent.
Their Banh Xeo was also very tasty, at first I found it weird that they cooked the shrimp with the shell but after trying it out, we liked it, they were soft shell shrimps and after pan frying it, the scrambled egg and shrimp were very crispy. Definitely try that out.
The food was good, portion wise, I wish they'd give you a tiny bit more? Value wise, is a 4 stars but tastes wise I ended up scoring Banh Xeo Minh a 5. We will come back another time to try their spicy soup next time.
They also sell their homemade (?) Cha Lua (Vietnamese pork roll) and is good....
Read moreI wanted to try for so long. Finally I had the chance to go but I was a bit disappointed. We had the banh nam first. It was smooth and flavourful. You didn't have to eat with the fish sauce because it was so fragrance with the banana leaf. I got a pho for my daughter. Broth is very good. there was no need to add any sauce to it. They are known for the banh xeo, but unfortunately, that was where I was disappointed the most. First, the banh xeo was not as crispy as I would like. They put too much bean sprout in it. That made it soggy and tasteless. Their fish sauce was too light. The rice roll dish was ok. Rice roll too tick. It's a nice place to have lunch. I would come back for their pho. The price is average. Around...
