Coffee 4/10 Menu - Ambiance 3/10 Location 7/10 Study/Work Friendly 3/10 Staff Friendliness 6/10

It is a bit difficult finding a true third wave cafe that ticks all the list in Montreal especially if you’re further from downtown This local café seemed so nice in the pictures from google maps but probably the set up has changed and there is barely any comfortable seating area I didn’t like how confusing the plan of the café. I mean a section for wine bottles and a fridge that had what it looked like lasagna all of that was not my kinda style for a café design I ordered a cortado and I was honestly disappointed. The espresso shot was good and very balanced but then it got ruined with the milk that wasn’t steamed right. It lacked the creamy rich velvet texture and it was over steamed to the point that it lost its natural sweetness. I didn’t try any other items on the menu because although they might be good, I was really discouraged by the coffee I got that I didn’t feel it was made with love Bottom line: I...

Worst experience I have ever had in a Montreal café. Taking a walk with my husband and two young kids, we decide to drop by this place to grab a latte, to go. We walk in, and patrons stare at us like we are aliens. Staff turns up volume of music. We order 2 lattes. They give our lattes to the people who ordered after we did. So, husband goes outside with baby, while I wait another 5 minutes for my lattes with my toddler, while patrons stare at me like I have a huge turd on my head. Staff barely excuses themselves for the wait. To top it all off, lattes tasted like watered down old coffee. We live in the area. They lost our (potentially very lucrative) business....

Really nice cafe. One of the best locations of the chain. Clean, friendly, and good quality taste. Also the place is a decent size. There is a space for open seating and conversation. Two big tables for working. And some outdoor patio seating as well. I tried their curry latte which was a bit sweet and slightly spiced, not overwhelming. It was OK. Good to experience but won't make it my regular drink. I just like their Americanos and...
