Café Plantation Inc (7500 Bd des Galeries d'Anjou #07, Anjou, QC H1M 3M4) - this place is a real explosion of color and extraordinary design! 🤩

Stepping inside is like traveling back in time to an old-fashioned colonial coffee trading post. 🕰️ With its wooden shelves, vintage coffee sacks, copper details, and dim lighting, every element of the interior has been carefully thought out, creating a truly unique atmosphere. You can tell that someone poured their heart into this design – huge respect for that! 👍

The aroma of coffee fills the air, promising an invigorating drink. ☕ The coffee itself is good, but to my taste, it's missing that special "something" to make it one of my Montreal favorites.

Nevertheless, Café Plantation Inc is a very atmospheric and colorful spot that I definitely recommend visiting to immerse yourself in this unusual coffee story. 😉

I usually enjoy finding independent coffee spots, but my recent visit to this place was a total letdown. I popped in with a simple question about the menu and was met with an extremely rude barista. Their attitude made me feel like I was bothering them just by being there.

At that point I really didn't want the coffee anymore, I went ahead with my order just to be polite to her. But then, when I went to pay, it got worse, the barista violently turned around slammed the payment terminal around with a serious attitude. And when I tried to be polite and wish them a nice day, I got zero acknowledgement.

It's a shame to leave a negative review, but there's definitely room for improvement here. Sadly, I won't be going back. Instead, I will be getting my coffee out of the two other coffee shops nearby for a friendlier vibe.

J'ai généralement plaisir à découvrir des cafés indépendants, mais ma récente visite dans cet endroit a été une totale déception. Je suis entré avec une simple question sur le menu et j'ai été accueilli par une barista extrêmement impolie. Leur attitude m'a donné l'impression de les déranger juste en étant là.

À ce stade, je n'avais vraiment plus envie de café, mais j'ai quand même passé ma commande juste pour être poli envers elle. Mais ensuite, quand je suis allé payer, ça a empiré, la barista a violemment retourné le terminal de paiement avec une attitude grotesque. Et quand j'ai essayé d'être poli et de lui souhaiter une bonne journée, je n'ai eu aucun signe de reconnaissance.

C'est dommage de laisser un avis négatif, mais il y a définitivement des améliorations à apporter ici. Malheureusement, je ne reviendrai pas. À la place, je vais chercher mon café dans les deux autres cafés à proximité pour une ambiance...

I'm there about every 2 weeks to get my coffee fix. I get their mix called "Canon" and have them grind the beans for my little Cuisinart espresso machine. And you can have the mix of beans you desire. When I need coffee for filters, I get half/half of their Colombien Noir and Moka Java Noir, all mixed and grinded in the same bag. Service is usually nice but like lotsa little businesses, they have a tough time to find good and competent staff. Still, the best coffee shop in the east end...
