Plaza Le Rizz — Attraction in Montreal

I am not sure why everyone said the food was nice, but it was pretty standard. The shrimp was a letdown due to the overcook in the banquet, texture didn't feel right. It was way harder and had a sticky texture. The whole batch of scallops stir with butter was slightly undercook which leaves a displeasing taste/texture, although eddible. It was fresh however.

The pea soup that was served is basically an enhanced Lipton soup flavour mashed in a mixer with a creamy texture. The steak was surprisingly well season for the lack of ingredient used, should they have put more seasoning would be a terrific signature dish.

Otherwise, the staff were great and made sure if the food was ok for my family to eat. One of us is allergic to MSG and the waiter and chief cook came to us frequently warned which food to avoid or have something alternative to offer.

Our annual family reunion was a huge success due to in large part the choice of venue. Le Rizz accommodated us in every way possible and remained professional and attentive from booking to the day of the event. The food was well presented, delicious,and the portions were generous. From the staff to the decor to the food everything was impeccable. The head waiter, Alex, was indispensable in helping us set up prior to the event. He made sure every detail was taken care of. A plus was the hall offered a private lavatory for our specific hall which was such a bonus for our elderly family members. Just WOW! My husband and I got married at Plaza Le Rizz a few weeks ago and we are still in awe at the food and service. Our guests have not stopped talking about how amazing the food tasted and how beautifully the international stations and sweet table were displayed.
