Dic Ann's Hamburgers Pointe-Aux-Trembles — Restaurant in Montreal

Not much to say, the burgers are not what I remember from childhood... Let me clarify, it's subjective really. When I was a kid, I liked McDonalds, I hate McDonalds today, other than the Oreo McFlury and the Chicken McNuggets, especially when they are fresh and hot. I guess the same can be said for Dic Ann's, when I was a kid, I remember stopping there whenever we went to our cottage in Rawdon, we would stop there for dinner at the Pie-IX location on the way home. It was very fond memories that as an adult, just don't feel the same so it's not that Dic Ann's is bad, it's just not how I remembered it. After living in Montreal my whole life, I finally decided to give Dic Ann’s a try after hearing so much praise about this iconic franchise. I have to say, I really enjoyed learning about the history of the establishment—it’s a great backstory. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. I was underwhelmed by it all. While I know many people are passionate about Dic Ann burgers and even try to recreate the famous sauce, it just wasn’t to my taste. Went there at 6 10 pm , all the chairs were up already ,they close at 7 pm , come on ! I know they want to finish but just ... I did not show up at 6 50 pm ! Staff could not answer why I could not eat there . They were nice though. Brought my food home .
