EtOH Brasserie — Restaurant in Montreal

The EtOH is a charming place at the heart of Villeray - Parc Extention borough of Montreal. Perfectly located at the corner of St-Denis St. and Jarry St., just across the Jarry subway station, this trendy brasserie offers an after-work, as well as a late-night atmosphere. On the menu side, the clientele's been offered some very interesting Quebec-made cheese and deli boards to share, pig tongue and delicatessen start-ups, duck & fruit, smoked salmon and prosciutto salads, sandwiches and nachos. The beer selection includes 20-some local and homemade brands. With a very straight forward name you know what you're getting when you go here. We tried quite a few of their wonderful beers and each one was better than the last. And, of course, since we can't go anywhere without stuffing our faces... We enjoyed some satisfying, delicious food as well. I addition to all that, the simple yet very comfortable decor, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service with amazing super human memory (our waitress remembered all 10 sampler beers we ordered and who they were for) we had a very good outing overall.

Came last night for my first time on a date with my partner (We're queer, and POC) and was met with 10/10 service and respect from our servers! We tried a few of the beers: Black IPA, The GOSE, The 10 year anniversary beer and an English Ale. All of the beers were absolutely phenomenal and prices very reasonably. They had 2 sizes to choose from being a glass (12oz) and a pint (20oz). We got the nachos and it was LOADEDDDDD with cheese and goodies.
