La Crùmerie Henri-Bourassa is one of my favorite summertime ice cream spots and never fails to deliver. It’s conveniently located with plenty of easy parking, making it a hassle-free stop whether you’re passing through or heading there on purpose. In the warmer months, it’s a popular destination—expect a bit of a line on hot evenings, but the staff is always polite, upbeat, and efficient, so things move along quickly. There are a few picnic tables outside, which make it easy to enjoy your cone right away while soaking in the summer air. The ice cream itself is everything you’d want—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. I went for the large cone this time, and I was seriously impressed. The photo doesn’t quite capture it, but the thing had to be close to 20 cm tall—an absolute tower of soft-serve goodness. It’s not just tasty, it’s also great value for the price. Whether you’re a local or just driving through, it’s the kind of place that makes summer in Montreal feel a little sweeter.

Extremely slow service even with numbers to "keep track " number machine seem broken. On training new young staff during rush hour (Saturday 5pm) a bit nonchalantly. Only one guy was dynamic, the one in charge and he was doing his best to get more orders. Good menu variety, affordable prices for large families. Close to home by walking but last option by car since wait time was 15 min+ to order.

It seems the employees are new and young. To begin, very slow with service. The employee serving me filled half the ice cream scooper, claiming “that’s how much fits”. Not sure if he’s been ordered to fill the scooper halfway, or if judgment is impaired, but when you pay $20 for 2 cups of gelato, you’re not paying to get half a serving. I’m a gelato lover and happy to pay for good gelato (at least it tasted okay), but this was a disappointing and...
