I hate leaving negative reviews but this in the hope that this local NDG Resto can be better and thrive as I hope they can. Spending more than 100$ plus on food that I can make better at home is not cool. The whole reason for going to a restaurant that specializes in certain foods is to be treated to something special and wowed. Right? Service was excellent!… best part of the night. Wings were a miss...no crisp and the skin wasn’t cooked at all. Nacho chips so hard and thick it was a chore to eat. Birria tacos were so full of fat (although the beef stock was amazing) I had to discard half the taco. Carnitas tacos tasted like over cooked and dry pork chops and we had to pay extra for them….? Why? Maybe I came on an off night? And the taquitos dorados had zero flavour… hard tortilla shell with bland mashed potato. Generous portions but the quality wasn’t there for the price. Like I said it might have been an off night for this establishment and I am fully rooting for them to succeed but this wasn’t a good first impression when there are other options in the same area. The reviews seem to say otherwise and I truly hope they prove me wrong and are around for many years. This neighbourhood needs this kind of...

J'y suis allé vendredi dernier, avec 7 amis sur la recommandation d'un ami, et la vérité est que nous avons eu une expérience terrible avec le serveur et les boissons. Mon verre était un demi-verre et le serveur nous a répondu de manière désobligeante. Dès le début, il ne savait pas comment servir correctement. J'ai posé des questions sur la nourriture ou les boissons et il ne savait rien. Je lui ai demandé ce qu'il y avait dans le « bleu éléphant » et il a répondu « mmm je ne sais pas, je pense que c'est du gin, je ne sais pas » et ainsi de suite pour la plupart des choses. Ensuite, nous nous sommes plaints du problème avec nos boissons (margaritas) et il a continué à nous répondre de manière grossière et hostile. Je pense que cette personne n'est pas assez bonne pour fournir un bon service. manque d'expérience mais il ne l'a pas bien fait et en voyant les commentaires je me rends compte que je ne suis pas le seul à parler de lui, j'espère qu'ils feront quelque chose, il y a beaucoup de gens qui feraient ce métier avec plaisir et n'aimeraient pas lui, qui l'a fait à contrecœur et avait tout le temps un visage en colère. Despues vino la dueña del local y nos ofreció margaritas, shots gratis pero ese no es el problema, y muchas gracias por la propuesta pero ya estábamos muy desanimados y enojados que lo único que queríamos era irnos, aparte nos ofrecieron un reembolso que en mi caso je n'arrive jamais.

Espagnol fui el viernes pasado, con 7 amigos por recomendación de una amiga, y la verdad tuvimos una pésima experiencia con el mesero y las bebidas. Mi bebida era medio vaso y el mesero nos respondía de una manera despectiva, desde un principio el no supo servir de una buena manera, yo preguntaba algo acerca de la comida o sobre las bebidas y el no sabía nada, le pregunté que tiene el 'elephant blue' y el me contestó "mmm no sé, creo que gin, no se" y así con la mayoría de cosas. Despues reclamamos el problema con nuestras bebidas (margaritas) y nos seguía respondiendo de una manera descortés y poco amable, pienso que esa persona no sirve para dar un buen servicio no sé si era nuevo o falta de experiencia pero no lo hizo bien y viendo los comentarios me doy cuenta que no soy el único que habla de el, espero que hagan algo al respecto hay muchas personas que harían ese trabajo con gusto y no como el, que lo hacía con mala gana y tenía cara de enojado todo el tiempo. Short review.- amazing place for price, service, food and drinks quality meeting price and fun. Either for breakfast or late night, stop by you won't regret it.

For those who like to read long version. We got there 30 min before closing, and staff was happy to accommodate us, a party of 4 and still didn't complain about the big order they made it and were happy and friendly. We over stayed our staying 1 hr after closing eating and such and we were never rush to leave the premesis. It was fun, delicious and a unique experience.

So day after we were there for brunch... just to get the same amazing experience.
