I thought it would maybe get better since McD's has standards. It did not, do not listen to the good reviews here. They are near commercial centres so it's as if they have a guaranteed volume of customers so they don't bother with service. -----Problems: Digital order machines do not work; the receipt does not get printed, so you have no proof you ordered and paid for anything. Do NOT use them. -Order machines do not work and no one is there to help anyways! No one at the cash , they seem to be missing staff. Funny. They make mistakes on your orders. You'll wait 10 minutes for someone to notice you (hand waving does not help), then wait 10 more for them to correct the thing. Do NOT throw out your receipt (if you have one in the first place). No physical distancing between tables, they just closed the left half of the restaurant to appear to be in compliance with COVID rules. This does nothing to protect people as everyone is still at the same place. The tables are not regularly disinfected to keep up with with customer turnover. They seem to prioritize the drive through, however that's not fair for uber drivers and customers inside who wait and wait. Some employees don't care and ignore customers. -----Pros: 1-Some employees try to help. The older guy on the floor tries to enforce hygiene and help customers. The McDonald's located at 8100 Champlain in Lasalle, Quebec needs a serious manager turn over. I go there almost everyday for coffee, and in the summer Oreo mcflurries for my daughters despite the ridiculous wait time in the drive through cause it's close to home. Every time I get this one person on the intercom, he's rude. Tonight at 10:25 pm, was the last straw resulting in this complaint. I made the complaint to the sweet young man at the window but as the rude ignoramus that served me was a manager, here I am. I asked for an Oreo mcflurry as I usually do and said can you make sure there's enough Oreo cause the last time it was much more vanilla with very little Oreo, to which he replied I'll put as much as I'm supposed to put OKAY? I said Wow...his reply was advance. Keeping in mind that I was there not 10 mins before for a coffee and another mcflurry for my other daughter(which took 20 mins!) when I got to the window I asked the nice employee who served me 10 mins ago who was on the intercom to which he replied sorry about that. Sorry about that? I'm here like 7 times a week and the proper response was we can add extra Oreo for an additional fee or make it like we're supposed to this time, not the snooty rude response I received. The nice employee couldn't do much or get his manager as "Dan" was the manager! Unacceptable and as a loyal customer to that location I must express my utter disappointment in the management and client care as a whole. I hope this results in a change or I'll start buying my daily coffee and food and deserts elsewhere.

Besides the fact that this is the SLOWEST McDonalds in north America and mostly due to employees more interested in their social lives than their jobs, I still frequent this restaurant quite a bit. But after my experience here the other day, I will never go back! Placed my order on the mobile app and picked up at the drive thru like I always do. I get to the window and the employee tells me there's a problem with my payment. So I open my mobile banking app knowing I have more than enough money and sure enough there's a charge for my order already showing. I show this to the employee who then left for what felt like ten minutes presumably to correct the situation. Nope! Comes back and tells me if I want my order I have to pay them a second time!!!! Then when I got upset (understandably so) she just kept rudely putting her hand up and refusing to deal with the problem! I said I I either wanted a refund or the order I paid for and she refused. Even continued yelling at me back and forth after I was driving away! I ended up going to the Newman location which was much faster and nicer. Still have not gotten my refund and when I called corporate they were appalled and will be following up with me and the franchise owner about this. I doubt I'll hear back but it was still nice to have the situation acknowledged. Completely disgusted that a huge franchise like this would treat a customer this badly over a $6 breakfast order....that employee should be instantly terminated just for trying to fraud a customer.
