Unfortunate Experience at this Mc Donald's Importance of Proper Food Handling
🚫🍽️ Attention to Food Safety Practices at restaurant
Dear Mc Donald's
We recently had a disconcerting experience at at your Mc Donald's where our observant guest noticed a concerning food handling practice. We would like to take this opportunity to shed light on the significance of proper food handling and the importance of diligence from all members of the staff.
Between 20:10 and 20:25, one of our valued I witnessed the cook using the wrong tool to cut their grilled chicken. Instead of utilizing the appropriate equipment, hamburger meat tools were mistakenly employed. As many of you may know, different tools are specifically designed for diverse types of food - for good reason.
Not only does using the wrong tools compromise the quality and presentation of the dish, it also poses potential health risks. The act of cutting grill chicken with the incorrect instrument, without a cutting board, brings about the risk of cross-contamination. This raises concerns regarding food safety and the possibility of someone falling ill due to unsanitary practices.
After bringing this matter to the attention of the restaurant's manager, it was disheartening to receive less-than-satisfactory responses. Initially claiming that they did not possess a cutting board, the manager's subsequent retort - "well, I really don't care" - left much to be desired. We firmly believe that pride and attention to detail should always be central to any food service establishment.
From personal experience as a former cook at distinguished establishments such as Langleir McDonald's and St. Michele, it is clear that best practices, including the provision of cutting boards and specialized knives, are necessary in any professional kitchen setting.
We hope that this incident serves as a catalyst for change and that Mc Donald's] reevaluates its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety. We urge the bosses to address this situation promptly and prioritize the well-being of their patrons.
As customers, it is within our right to demand safe and hygienic dining experiences. When we bring these matters to light, it paves the way for improved practices and ensures a healthier environment for...
Read moreSo I went there today Monday the 14 th of April for lunch. I ordered my lunch online. I always use the app and when I got to the McDonald's here to pick up my lunch I asked the guy who looked like a manager, young man, clean cut, looks Spanish or something who sees me almost everyday. I'm there way too often. I asked him if I could have a habanero sauce. He says I have to charge you so I said but I'm here everyday and I just picked up food again today. Can you give me a sauce with my food? I have to charge you for it he says. So next time I'm going to go eat across the street at Harvey's they gave me sauces there. Anyways, the food wasn't great so I might as well make a review about the food itself which is often put together in a poor fashion like the other day I ordered a Big Mac and there was lettuce everywhere. The sauce was on the side. The patties were not centered and it wasn't very hot. So with this poor quality now I guess I could say poor service. Frequent customer buys a meal and asks for a little sauce and is denied it unless I have to pay again. That's grounds to go. Eat lunch elsewhere. Obviously. Now I understand why this McDonald's has a low score. They'll probably answer that his policy and that it's a new thing and whatever. So give the customer a sauce and tell him next time you know can't do it. You don't just cut them off well anyways, if you come and eat here look across the street there's a Harvey's and other restaurants. I would suggest to go try those before eating at this McDonald's not only is there food not good but now they don't even give you a sauce with your meal. Keep your sauce. Keep your meals. Give the business to other businesses that makes sense. Not very smart. Not coming back here. I would advise you did the same go to another McDonald's where they don't mind giving you a sauce or go across the street try or something new. There's a little deli there that's quick service cheap and good. Go try it out. The heck...

But the curbside mobile ordering is a total crapshoot. 33% of the time they bring you your order quickly and have awesome staff! 33% of the time nobody in the drive thru team knows what curbside delivery is so you meal sits there until you walk in and ask. Then they go “oh” and hand you a cold bag of food that’s been sitting there since you ordered. Absolutely no concept of “hmmm, I didn’t bring them their food for 30 minutes, maybe it’s cold?” The other 33% of the time you wait for 30 minutes then someone realizes it’s a curbside order and they bring out your cold food that’s been sitting with them for 25 minutes. One time They brought me ice cream that was sitting out for 30 minutes. Like I get that you made a mistake and forgot to bring out the order (as you do 66% of the time), but you’re seriously going to hand me melted cones? McDonalds is pushing hard for people to use the mobile app, but at this location the majority of employees don’t know what curbside delivery is :/ and management of this McDonalds is not keen enough to do anything about it. Would love to see their drive thru benchmark stats vs other locations. I estimate they average 1 customer...
