The worst MacDonald I have ever been. I work for delivery courrier . I came at 7:30pm to pick up an order, found a note on the door that says use the front window after 7:30pm (Even though in their notes on the app it's noted after 10pm) . Nevertheless I go to the other side , infront the window , and I see a girl who is working hard and the other one just arranging cups and plastic lids. No one is paying attention to me or any of the other 4-5 couriers standing outside. Literally only 1 person is making the orders and working. I waited for 25 mins, and when finally got noticed by the one employee who is preparing the orders, she said that she is finishing all the orders soon and will all be ready for everyone (Now how is that even right if the customer ordered their food but now they have to wait for the other orders to be done as well so we could deliver it to them cold?) I mean if you cannot keep up with delivery , then only make the order available once it's ready , so we don't have to come and wait outside for 25 mins this is just not right, and if you cannot do that , then maybe let the other MacDonald (like the one at Walmart ) to deliver with the delivery courriers , they make such a better job. 1- update your notes in the app 2-treat your delivery courriers in a better manner, we aren't supposed to arrive and wait 25mins for an order nor the customer has to wait either for eventually get their food cold. 3- put more than one person to prepare the orders, there was one guy who only had drinks orders
The one star is literally for that one person who was working hard, i am upset to put a bad review in time were restaurants are suffering but this is needed. No one is correcting or supervising Seriously some restaurants even give you water or something while your waiting, this MacDonald doesn't even care...
Read moreThis is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever ordered from. I had so many issues with them I can't even count them on two hands. They mess up the orders 90% of the time, both when ordering from Uber Eats as well as picking it up. We are always missing something, whether it's the fries, a drink, a burger, sauces, extras, etc. I almost never had a single correct order, it happened 4 or 5 times out of about 20-25 orders in total.
We ordered from Uber Eats once, 2 trios + a McFlurry and an iced coffee. The bag came with 1 bigmac, 1 large fries, bbq sauce for nuggets, and 2 soft drinks. We were missing the 10 piece nuggets, 1 medium fries, the McFlurry, and the iced coffee. Literally half our order. I then went down there by myself to explain the situation to the cashier. She told the issue to the manager who was in the back, and he started laughing and brushed it off. So she had to ask another employee to make the missing items from our order.
Another time we ordered from there was during the Monopoly prize rewards for certain items. We had an order totaling 8 tickets, but when our order arrived home, in a sealed bag, ALL of our tickets were removed from the items, as if the staff removed the tickets to keep them for themselves. (not that we were actively participating in the tickets contest, but still, this is not a way to act as an employee at all)
Those are the 2 "big things" that really pushed me to stop going to this McDonald's, but as I said, they mess up your orders 90% of the time, there is almost ALWAYS an item or 2 missing. Read moreThis review is actually on the surprising customer service I received at the drive through of the McDonald's branch on Newman Blvd in LaSalle, Quebec. I must say I have NEVER received customer service like I did today in my LIFE from any restaurant like I did from Nicole ("Nikki"). Although I only ordered two coffees (which were actually free because of my rewards cards), she was like a breath of fresh air when she took my order over the intercom. She was so full of life, pleasant, happy and positive that she instantly brightened my mood. Now some people may think, what kind of restaurants has he been to.... Trust me I've gone to 3, 4 and 5 star fine-dining restaurants as well as fast food places like McDonald's and their competitors and I telling you this was different. I was so impressed with her attitude and service that I actually asked to speak to the manager to convey my appreciation of her. Considering the times we are in where so many people are on edge, frustrated, angry and some even tired with life, speaking to someone like this can really change people's day and in some cases their lives. I would hope that McDonald's recognizes people who possess similar character traits like Nicole and continually encourage them personally, professionally and financial. Just so you know, I never take the time to write reviews but I was so taken back by Nicole ("Nikki") this afternoon that I felt the need to acknowledge her as what seems to be a great human being. If only half the people we meet in a day can be half as pleasant as she was, what a world we would be living in.
