Food is decent, but not great fast food - you can do better. The main issue I have had after a dozen or so deliveries and a couple of pickups is poor service. Maybe that doesn't matter to you but consider a/ you are charged for a souflaki and fry + extra large poutine when you only wanted the souflaki and extra large poutine b/ when waiting to pick up delivery after 5 minutes another customer arrives and is served first c/ see the first point - I ordered food a final time from them, when I asked to be sure I would only get what I ordered, I was spoken too in a condescending way implying that my choice was stupid and that I should choose their 'definition' of my order - without re-assuring me they aren't making me pay for something I don't want. So I thankfully took my business elsewhere. Besides, their food is really not great. Its all basic out of the can, basis ingredients etc. As I said - biggest issue is poor service. The drivers are all A1 however. In store counter/phone service = POOR. When I approached them about this, things quickly escalated as I received the same poor service...I decided to cancel and let them know what they could do with my order. PS. Someone wrote specifically its all in the sauces. Yes I agree. And the pizza dough is sub-par at best. Never cooked enough. The italian poutines are my favorite - but their's are the worst I've tasted on the islands(Montreal+Laval). And I have tried many. Its as if they have mixed prego canned sauce with medium ground beef industrial style puree, and the cheese is often not 'right'. They seem to nuke the sauce so it has a kinda burnt taste to it... Read moreEDIT: I have down graded to 3 stars. The food is now "OK". But, not what it used to be. It's taken a steep dive in quality. Ordered the fish and chips for pick-up online. Specifically, mentioned in the comments to call me when it was ready. An hour and I half later I get a call. I show up 5 mins later and I wait, and wait, and wait (there's no one in the front). So, I sit down, and wait, and wait, and wait. 5 mins, 10 mins. Finally, someone comes out front. I get my order. Pay. I think I'm on my way. Put order in my passenger seat and head to the Dep next door to get some items. Halfway there. My phone rings. It's the girl from the counter. She says "We forgot to give you your salad. Can you come back?". So, I walk back. Pick up the salad. put it in the car on top of my original order and go to the Dep and get my things. Head back home.
I get back home and open the bags. I have a my original order (with the salad), AND an additional salad. I can only surmise that they didn't read the order in it's entirety. Made the original order and didn't call (because they didn't read the comments). Tossed it out and THEN read the comment to call me when it was ready for pickup.
Quality and service (except for a few drivers), is not what it was 10 years ago.
Always fast delivery (I live around the corner). These guys and gals have been feeding me nearly exclusively, for the last 6 months. Great pizza. Great poutine. I'm slowly making my way...
Read moreBeen ordering there for so many years but not anymore. We ordered 2 large poutines and the fries were overcooked for both. I called them to advise and they offered me deliver 2 regular ones instead. I declined the offer as we didn’t want food anymore (poutine served as a side dish) but more as a feedback. After brief discussion with the boss/owner he agreed to give me a credit instead which was great as we are regular customers. 10 mins after, they called me back to tell me the « credit » agreement is no longer valid because it would cost too much to the company which they can’t afford. Final offer: either me bringing them back the old poutine to get an exchange or 2 smalls ones delivered right now. I declined both as it’s all coming down to going back on an agreement and then, wasting food. I know it might be hard to believe but yes fries can be overcooked no matter who’s doing it and how they are done (deep frier). Anyways, I told them that for 35$ I can handle that lost on my own and it was a more informative feedback which I was told « ok thanks then bye » and got hangup on… Guess bye is the...
