Horrible!
Where do I start!? The pho were lukewarm when they're supposed to be hot... And although it had a slight colour to it, the pho's broth was literally tasteless... It made me wonder if they were running out of broth and therefore decided to dilute it with water...
The imperial rolls weren't fresh at all... The spring rolls were really loose (they weren't full), they had this long, uncut piece of chive that comes out fully of the rolls when you take your first bite (looks like they never heard of a knife!), and the shrimps we NOT deveined!!! YUK!!!
Then I noticed that, after clearing and cleaning the tables and grabbing many glasses at the same time by putting her fingers inside the dirty glasses, the waitress doesn't wash her hands and then handles/plates food!!! SERIOUS LACK OF HYGIENE THAT CAN LEAD CUSTOMERS TO GET DISEASES THAT ARE PASSED THROUGH SALIVA (FROM DIRTY GLASSES TO THE WAITRESS'S HANDS TO YOUR FOOD)!!!
Then, as we were paying our bill, we saw the cook (the only guy in the kitchen) nuking the food!!! If I wanted food microwaved, I wouldn't go to a restaurant!!! People go to restaurants to eat freshly made meals... Not food reheated in the microwave!!! If you need to reheat something, use the stove or the stove top!!! Not the freaking microwave!!!
Besides that, you constantly have to actually ask the waitress to remove the empty dishes, and that even if she brings you a new meal, she leaves without taking away what needs to be taken away... She gives you one (1) glass of water when you first arrive and NEVER fills it up again! SHE NEVER EVER COMES TO CHECK IF EVERYTHING IS TO YOUR SATISFACTION AND/OR IF YOU NEED ANYTHING! She's a REALLY BAD waitress!!!
I'm TOTALLY disgusted by this place that shouldn't even be called restaurant!!!
I can't comprehend how people can give a 5 star rating when this restaurant doesn't even...
Read moreThe pho here was good, but the service was disappointing. The staff brought me the menu silently without greeting me. When I mentioned that the AC was too cold, the waiter just said he felt cold too and walked away. At checkout, I paid with cash, and instead of giving me the full change, the cashier lady asked, “How much do you want back?” Honestly, it didn’t even feel like she wanted to give me any change. I believe the standard process should be giving the full change and letting me decide the tip—it was so awkward. Overall, the food was decent, but the service really needs improvement. An explanation to the owner's reply: this review is for Pho Binh at Pierrefonds. I called that cashier lady the owner just to make it simple but if she is not, then it was my mistake and I have corrected it. And maybe that explains the poor service as the owner is...
Read moreI really enjoyed the various sauces they serve with the food. Each of them complemented the food respectively and tied the whole dish together. It was great. However, each item were 24$ and I think that is a bit overpriced for the portion given. The beef that came with the rice was a bit tough but the chicken was tender and great. The food also arrived lukewarm which might be why the beef was tougher than supposed to be. Regardless, I also really enjoyed their bowl of pho even though it was a very small portion. I feel the most disappointed in the fried egg that I got extra. I don't know what I was expecting but since it was 4$ for the extra fried egg, I thought it would be something more amazing. But it was just a normal sunnyside up egg, for 4$, which is quite expensive in my opinion. I would definitely love to give their bowls of Pho a...
