My mother started feeling faint and ill in the store. She sat down on a chair. She felt tightness in her chest and all. She asked the staff for a glass of water. They gave her a bottle and told her it was an expensive bottle of water.
My mother called me to come get her. It did take me 25 mins to get there but when I did, I saw my mom looked bad so I called 911. As I was on the phone with 911, one of the employees or owners started telling my dad to get out of the store unless he was going to buy something. My mother had already paid for her purchases. Then the same nasty woman and a client starting telling me and mom that we were “in the way” cause the chair was close to the cash. The employee started repeatedly telling us move while I was trying to talk to 911. Finally, we were forced to leave while and waited for an ambulance outside.
Never did they ever offer to call 911 for my mom while she waited for me nor did they maybe move the chair to a less busy corner or the store or the back.
We witnessed a disgusting lack of humanity today. Shame on Patisserie Rosemont. We will NEVER go back despite their delicious Polish food. Please think twice about supporting a business who doesn’t care about people. Doesn’t care...

They have a nice assortment of meats as well as polish fare. Tried their doughnuts for the first time… I think they’re the best doughnuts I’ve ever eaten!! Can’t get over it! So good! Had 1 strawberry & 1 vanilla, they also have prune. Glad these neighbourhood bastions of culture are still...
