Great ambiance, kids are very welcome and place has chairs for babies. Menu is updated depending the season. Better if you make a reservation to assure a place and not wait outside. There's no parking and no metro station near either. Restaurant is between St Michel and Iberville steet on Masson. Staff is welcoming and very attentionate, really good service even if getting your food takes time (especially during rush hour), delicious food love the variety of the menu (the texture of the rice in the sushi wasn't "sticky"enough but staff was open when I comment on it (so open to feed back which is good). I've only been there for supper so I definitely have to try for brunch. Several drinks style pot masson (compétitifs prices enjoy promotions!) and delicious mix. Really great spot for a family celebration or for a casual night out with friends. Also is good to see (I think is the owner or probably the manager I'm not sure) helping and working with the staff since he's aware of the quality/experience and service given to customers. A bit disappointed of the service during brunch. It was slow, uncaring and the place wasn't even full barely 5 tables. I ask twice for something but never got it (ketchup & napkins) sauces bottles were almost all empty (I checked myself several tables since I never got the ketchup!). At the end we had to get up so the waitress give us the bill cuz it was taking too long to they were getting ready for the evening shift I guess.

We decided to go for dinner (Sept 11, 2021) after reading up on various reviews and looking through their menu. We arrived, we’re greeted by the host who checked our vaccine passports but did not ask for ID. We chose our seats and looked over the drink menu. The waitress came over, we asked some questions and ordered our drinks. It took 15 mins before our drinks arrived and we were not served any water. The couple next to us even complained that they had been waiting too long even to get a glass of water! There we’re about 5 tables at the time (5:30pm) with 3 waiters. After receiving our drinks, the waitress said she would return for our food order…. 45 mins later she returned! There weren’t really other people to call over as they all stood mask off near the bar. We ordered some wings, poutine, meat/cheese platter, calamari and the beef tartar. Honestly, all just okay. The meat and cheese platter was the best but that is simply put together VS. cooked. The beef tartar tasted awful ( I love beef tartar) and after 2 bites I sent it back. The waitress said she would do something about it. We asked for our bills and we waited another 30mins.. only to see her come back to us with more wings, that we didn’t want. We just wanted to pay and leave. 100$ table, unsatisfied with the service. We won’t be back. Also, the tartar was still on the bill! Food not all awful.. service a total loss!

Ordered online and received everything quickly. It all came in an orderly bag and nothing leaked. The salmon bagel was great, everything is inside of it was delicious, the bagel had one well-toasted half and the other half was hard as a rock. But it still tasted good. Pecan pie was delicious, nice crust, more shortbread-y than butter-y. The ham in the pot masson was pretty good. It was a lot for 500ml for like 6$? It’s definitely enough for two. I think the strawberry rhubarb pie was sent raw? Or maybe just not cooked correctly? I popped it in the oven and it cooked on top but still evidently raw on bottom. The filling still managed to be really tasty.

Was a great place at one time but I think they have become complacent. Overpriced cocktail came completely different than was explained on the menu. Food tasted and felt old. I should have been able to pass my fork through the cabbage and meat dish that I tried, but instead had to fight with a knife just to cut it. Old fries were sad, calamari chewy, salmon tartare used to always be delicious in every preparation, now served on a round piece of toasted white bread, with cream cheese, and plastic-flowers garnishing the plate. Why serve something that is literally inedible? Strange as it used to be consistently good and great value (even for $13.00 cocktail, $17.00 with tax and tip for a one-ounce drink). Was going all the time but won't be returning anytime soon. Better off getting take-away at any of the many other...
