We drove down to Verdun and visited a classic casse-croûte established in 1958. Impeccable fries with the slightest crunch to them. A classic sauce that doesn't try too hard to be special and reinvent poutine. Cheese at the perfect temperature before being added so it doesn't melt but also isn't cold... This Poutine is pure. Flawless.
The Hot dogs were the ideal size in our opinion, big enough for 2 to be filling and somehow tastes fresher than hotdogs usually do; we're not sure if that's due to the bread or the sausage itself.
