Scroll to see my previous 5⭐️order abt the food, which is admittedly delicious. This top part is a 0⭐️about if you order the food via an app. The last order they got an item wrong which annoyed me but I was gonna give them another try. Never again am I ordering takeout via delivery, I will only do take out if I can pick it up myself to make sure this doesn’t happen. They put my two lassis in a paper bag‼️instead of a drink tray like the other times. I get it, sometimes you run out of trays. Please Spice Bros™️ (so that no one else has to use up five rolls of paper towel and spend 45 minutes cleaning their stairwell & lobby): TAPE THE DRINKS SHUT if you don’t have trays and need to put them in a paper bag🤦🏻♀️bc otherwise, since the lids never stay on well they’re gonna spill in the bag, it’s going to soak thru the bag, they’re going to fall out of the bottom of the bag and explode everywhere. This is also partially on the driver who was holding the bag from the bottom, I took it from the top, so I didn’t notice the wetness until the explosion of lassi, but there was a trail of lassi going out my building so their hand had to be have been wet from the drinks that spilled inside the bag and had been soaking the bag for a while. . . . Ordered from here a couple of times, tried different things each time, all so flavourful. I knew I’d like the Channa Samosa based on the description but it was even better than I thought it would be. Many veg options, great spice blend for all the dishes I’ve tried (they’re all different too). I haven’t tried all the veg options yet but all the ones I did were delicious. There’s an option to make the butter paneer/chicken sauce spicier and if you like some heat (not a vindaloo amnt—iykyk—by any means, but noticeable), highly recommend doing that. I’m definitely going to keep...
Read moreI finally made my first visit to SpiceBros at their sud ouest location, just steps from Charlevoix metro—and it was a fun, flavorful intro to their Desi-style fast food concept.
First off, I loved the vibe. Each SpiceBros location has its own unique mural that adds a bold, colorful touch and gives the space some real personality. It’s casual, quick, and the kind of spot where you can build your bowl or wrap exactly how you like it.
I went with the Butter Chicken Bros Bowl, loaded with basmati rice, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, corn, pickled onions, and two of their creamy house sauces. I also tried the Tandoori Chicken Frankie—a juicy, well-seasoned wrap that was super satisfying and easy to eat on the go.
As someone who loves a little heat, I added their XXX Scorpion sauce to everything. While it’s their spiciest option, I didn’t find it overwhelmingly hot—it’s mayo-based, so the spice is mellowed out. But I actually really liked the flavorful kick it added to the meal.
To balance things out, I sipped on a Mango Lassi, which was yogurty, smooth, sweet, and super refreshing. I also tried a few of their chicken nuggets—crispy and a fun little side to dip in their sauces . I’ll definitely be back to try their sandwiches and tacos next!
I spotlight local foodie gems on @foxy.appetite, and SpiceBros brought the bold flavors and fun vibes I was hoping for.

Read moreVery disappointed. I really loved the concept, but a great concept can't make up for poor execution and service. My first visit was on a Saturday, when I walked in off the street and asked for butter chicken poutine takeout. Though the flavour was good and the portion generous, the larger potato pieces were undercooked, and though I live only a few minutes' walk away, the poutine was lukewarm and had to be reheated in the microwave. Still, I wanted to give them a chance, so I went back three days later, walked in and ordered a Bro Bowl to go. Well, a new guy at the counter told me I had to order it online in advance. When I pointed out I hadn't had to do that with my order on the Saturday, he basically called me a liar. I left the restaurant empty-handed that time, and won't ever go back. On a street with so many other good restaurants - Florence Cafe, Clarke cafe, Cafe Bloom, Station Berlin, etc. - where I DON'T need to order in advance online, and which are happy to take my $$$, not gonna waste my time. EPIC FAIL, BRO! EDITED: Well, I reached out to the owner at the address he left me below, and...he NEVER ANSWERED. Thanks for pretending to care -- NOT! Can I take away a half-star...
