The pho is really good. The other items on the menu however have been disappointing to me. Viet grilled meat usually has a honey taste, theirs just taste like grill marks and is not pre cut for ease of eating and is kinda dry. Their imperial rolls also don't taste good to me. Even their fish sauce seems less good than other viet restaurants. Their banh mi were also disappointing, the bread's crust was too hard and the bread rather bland, the banh mi not particularly tasty, only tasted like regular mayonaise as a sauce... Long story short, great pho, the rest is really not impressive. For any viet food other than pho, I'd go elsewhere. It's not bad per say, but it's just not...
Read moreWe went there on Sunday evening. It took the waiter 10 mins to serve us tea and give us a menu (even though the restaurant was far from being full - 3 tables including ours). If you want pho in ville St-Laurent, there are...
Read moreNew Vietnamese restaurant that just opened not too long ago where the previous MK Wong used to be. They’ve renovated the whole place and it looks modern and clean. The menu is what you would expect of a Vietnamese restaurant but they also have banh mi (Vietnamese submarines) and will definitely give it a try next time I go. The noodle soup are more on the salty that’s sweet side but is as delicious as the other pho mymy location. Staffs were courteous and helpful. A great addition to the VSL...
