A Tranquil Urban Oasis: Parc Beaudet

Parc Beaudet offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking respite from the urban hustle. Situated near the Du Collège metro station, accessibility is a breeze for both pedestrians and drivers with free parking available in the area, including two spots for electric car charging.

Despite its relatively small size, Parc Beaudet emanates a serene and inviting atmosphere. The park boasts a collection of majestic old-growth trees that provide ample shade, creating a cool sanctuary on warm summer days. Numerous benches and picnic tables are thoughtfully scattered throughout, inviting visitors to sit, relax, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. The park is adorned with charming patches of flowers, adding bursts of color and beauty to the landscape. In the center, a notable monument and fountain pay tribute to the local citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, serving as a poignant reminder of their bravery and dedication.

Parc Beaudet attracts visitors of all ages who come to unwind and escape the noise of the city. Even during busy periods, the park manages to maintain its serene atmosphere. It's a pleasure to witness squirrels darting about, busily gathering supplies in preparation for the approaching winter.

In terms of accessibility, Parc Beaudet is well-equipped to accommodate all visitors. Wheelchair access can be found on all four corners of the park, ensuring inclusivity for all individuals. Additionally, a midpoint wheelchair access point on the Gohier Street side further enhances the park's commitment to providing an inclusive environment for everyone.

Located within a short walking distance from the park, several restaurants and corner stores offer convenient options for refreshments and provisions, making Parc Beaudet an ideal destination for a leisurely afternoon outing.

Whether you seek a quiet moment of reflection, a family picnic, or a place to appreciate the beauty of nature, Parc Beaudet promises a memorable experience in the heart...

In summer the piano and flowers add a nice touch, whereas in winter the temporary skating rink is a lot of fun. The whole neighbourhood manages to get something from this small but well placed and very accessible park. There is a water fountain but no permanent on site toilets. 2 minutes walk from Du College...
