First time I order at this Pizzeria (with Uber Eats), and definitely the last time. Pizza No. 900 on Laurier is way better. I order from Pizza No 900 Laurier 4 pizzas almost every Monday, and I never had such a disappointment.
We ordered 3 pizzas: Margherita Antica, Margherita Bianca and a Mild Italian Sausage. We are very used to the first two.
Firstly, the good things: they tasted good-ish. While there are mistakes on the presentation and quantity/arrangement of toppings, the products are still good and tasty. The overall experience was not as good as the ingredients themselves as from one bite to another you’d go from a lot of topping to literally dough + tomato sauce. They made them fast and got delivered within 40 mins which is quite reasonable or even fast as we ordered around 6:30pm.
Now the bad.. please fasten your seatbelt. First of all, the second we opened the box, we were like “wtf is this !?”. 2 of them were small, you could tell right when opening the boxes. The Mild Italian Sausage was also smaller than usual but not that terrible. Again, comparing to my weekly 4 pizzas order from Laurier, I’ve never had such small pizzas delivered to me. Then the toppings... they were messy, like randomly thrown on the pizza, I even question if the pizzaiolo looked at the pizza when making it. On top of being poorly placed, they were relatively cheap on the Antica, 3 small leaves, and I couldn’t find the parmesan.
Out of the 3 pizzas the Mild Italian Sausage was the better one. The 3 pizzas arrived quite cold, which I assume is because of the Uber Eats delivery, more than the restaurant itself.
Bottom line: first time and last time from Fleury, I’ll try Rockland next time, and will stick to Laurier on...
Read moreI tried calling a few times but no answer 1415 on a weekday. So I had to use the online ordering site, which was home made feeling and took too long/too much info etc. But that's not the real problem. Management read this review and still couldn't understand the problem, no surprise I guess. Cold soggy pizza that was sitting at least 15 minutes because of the online ordering system. It was a weekday not a weekend. My name is not Patrice. The 900 on Wellington is far superior, they served me a hot pizza, 15 mins after ordering on a busy Thursday evening. The problem is the site said 30 mins until pick up. 30 mins is a long time for a marinara pizza.
I thought well maybe they are busy....so picked up a cold soggy pizza at exactly the time the website said it would be ready (restaurant was nearly empty). Tomato sauce is good, the oregano is bitter, I love good oregano, that wasn't very good and there was too much for how bitter it is. That could be just a personal opinion, but I enjoy strong flavors and that was not right. Maybe because it was cold and soggy the oregano popped too much. Anyhow won't be going there again. It's too bad, I had heard good things, but it's a chain now, possibly suffering from rapid expansion quality control issues.
I don't think you understood the problem. The pizza was cold and soggy, even though I picked it up exactly when the app said to. The app seemed to default to 30 mins but the kitchen obviously prepared it immediately (like I said the restaurant was empty) and then the pizza sat for 10-20? minutes. Cold and soggy, and apparently management can't be bothered to...
Read moreI would love to love this place, but unfortunately the food and service are just ... meh. I live nearby and found their terrace cute and wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the service was super slow and inattentive. No excuse for that : they weren't busy, only us and 1 other table on the terrace and not too many tables inside. I had to ask 5 times to get water and to have my dirty utensils changed. They forgot my husband's beer order and when they finally brought it (almost at the end of our meal), it was warm. We ordered 2 pizzas, both were undercooked especially in the middle, the dough was raw. The server saw that we hadn't eaten either pizzas in the middle at all and still didn't ask any questions. Their pizzas are not cheap either, so I did expect better, unfortunately. I hope it's just a one-off, but don't think I'll be going back given...
