Sushi Sama — Restaurant in Montreal

I used to order there every other week for almost 5 years and last night I ordered a shrimp and crab poke bowl with a tons of extra that cost me 33$ (tuna, salmon, avocado) and when I start eating I realized there was only a little salmon on top, not even crab or shrimp or avocado nor tuna. When I called to explain the situation and get a refund, they send someone to pick up the poke bowl. When I called the next day to inquire about my refund, they said : « you didn’t send us the whole poke bowl, there was only the salad ». When I said I returned the bowl for this exact reason, they called me a liar and he said that I ate the salmon before returning the product. I eventually received the refund but I had a really bad experience with the guy on the phone. my advice is to verify your order before the delivery guy leaves. We ordered on Uber Eats and it indicated that we could get free dragon eyes if we order more than 40$. When we finally got the food, the dragon eyes were nowhere to be found, and when we called the place, they said that the promotion is not applicable with Uber eats. Not only did they do false advertisement, the lady on the phone was very nonchalant about it. She didn’t apologize for the confusion nor try to improve the situation. On top of that, the rice is too soft, they used what seems to be like canned tuna, the sashimi is not fresh and the rolls are pretty small. I do not recommend this sama fusion. 📌Mufasa New flavour of Futomaki. It was surprisely delicious! The glazed fried crunchy potato on top of creamy salmon with rice. Taste like heaven! We would defiantly order two plates next time.

📌Mango Tango The rice paper wrapped with fried sweet yams, mango, and shrimp tempura is an interesting combination. I've never had it anywhere else in the world besides Quebec.
