I ordered a Mixed Shawarma Pita and a Chicken Bowl. I used to really enjoy Boustan, but I was quite disappointed with the hygiene practices during my recent visit.
One of the staff members was preparing my sandwich with bare hands, then touching the till, boxed drinks, and other surfacesâwithout washing his hands. When I pointed this out to the other employee making my chicken bowl, his reaction made it seem like this was normal practice. He had only one glove on but was still touching everything, including the cash and the payment machine, without changing gloves.
This is very unhygienic and concerning, especially when it comes to handling food. Please consider using fresh gloves for food preparationâ100 gloves cost less than $10. Itâs a small investment for better hygiene and customer trust.

Read moreYa good. Delicious food. Perhaps the only resto in verdun that has any really good food. Fast service too. Clean quiet yet always busy (delivery). 1 thing I started to dislike is the portions have gotten much smaller over past 2 years. I use to buy full combos ~$18-$27 and was always good as minimallly 2 sepearte meals but most recent visit, the same plates I scrape down in just 1 sitting. I understand increased costs but that def was not right portion size for the $. For 20$ I can cook for whole day or 2. Potatoes rice n veggies don't cost much in a resto, so to pay ~20$ for 1 meal Id expect to at least get a fulfilling meal. For the price I hope u guys can readjust the portions. Restos & groceries in this area are very low quality (to me), but Boustan remains perhaps the best in Verdun. Keep up the...
