Hello, you should teach the old lady working inside how to talk to people. She should learn to be polite to people and smile when she talks, if she can't handle working there she shouldn't work there, it was a restaurant I used to visit frequently and I definitely won't go there anymore and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Explanation ; I went to your restaurant yesterday to take an order. I greeted an elderly woman working inside, asking her how she was, but she didn't respond to me. Reacting in a racist manner, she shouted at me in French, asking where "Termal Cantan" was because I was speaking in English. I told the elderly woman that she shouldn't speak to me like that and asked her to speak nicely, but she continued to talk to me mockingly.

I maintained my professionalism and continued to serve both you and your customers, but what did she do? She gave me a rating of 1 on the Uber Eats scoring system. When I went back to your restaurant to take an order again, I faced the same response. Even though I didn't speak, that elderly woman again acted provocatively towards me, even though I wasn’t engaging with her, and intentionally gave me another rating of 1.

I experienced racism because I was speaking in English, and a man who worked there witnessed everything. You need to teach your employees not to engage in racism against anyone, regardless of who they are, and how to communicate with others, or provide training related to this issue. I will seek my rights through legal means and will file a complaint against that elderly woman.

I'm a conneseur of LBP, it's my favourite Montreal greasy spoon. I've eaten at 6 different ones on different trips. And this location is THE. BEST. ONE. Biggest portion of poutine, most generous with the tzatsiki on the gyros, and the double cheeseburger filled me up for a whole day. The owner is a great guy and super friendly. It's also easy to get to and park at, the ones downtown are meant for foot traffic.

The one by the bell center is the worst, I paid almost 6$ more for a smaller poutine there. This place, however, served up the largest plate of curds and fries I've ever seen. It took me 2 days to finish it. And the cashier spoke perfect English, so no language problems.

I can't speak highly enough about this place. I will be back next time...
