San Pietro — Restaurant in Montreal

I am sincerely APPALLED at this bakery for their lack of humanity. My grandfather was there over the weekend and spent $70. The poor 83 year old man locked himself out of his car and had to use the washroom. As he waited for a family member to come with a spare set of keys, he had to go to the washroom so went back into the bakery (where, let me remind you, he just spent $70). They said they had no washroom for him to use. I truly CANNOT believe this was the answer he was given. I will never give you business and I hope people consider where your values lie based on this before giving you any business either.

EDIT BASED ON REPLY FROM SAN PIETRO: That is not an excuse nor a proper answer to this situation. My grandfather was never offered to use the washroom accompanied by an owner/employee. Instead, he ended up having to walk over 3 blocks to a dep to use a washroom. He even offered to give them $5 as a thank you and they looked at him like he was crazy to be offering them money to use their washroom. That’s how much he felt that it was a big sacrifice to use an establishment’s washroom. Terrible!!! And to an elderly man on a freezing cold day, locked out of his car. Honestly, im very bummed to give this place 2 star. Because my first experience with a personalized birthday cake was amazing. The last two times though, they screwed up my cake. The cake taste was really good but they completely failed with what i asked for this time. I called and emailed them , and they never got back to me. What a shame. The service has gone down. Not only did they get the look wrong, I had to find out myself the morning I was supposed to pick up my cake that it wasn't even done yet. The time prior to that, they got the flavor wrong. Though they gave other pastries for their mistake, they let me down once again with no call back, nothing. Be aware of this place. Its become, unsatisfactory. We ordered a cake from San Pietro for my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary and my son's baptism, and it was absolutely perfect! The cake was not only stunning but also incredibly delicious.
