Sandwich daMarco — Restaurant in Montreal

This place popped up for me on uber eats with a free delivery promotion. I looked it up and saw all the great reviews so I gave it a shot as I was having a craving for a good panini.

Now let me be honest, I kind of wish I didn't try it because now I'm straight up addicted. The fluffy mayo and hot sauce to dunk your sandwich in with an amazing macaroni salad on the side (with some hot sauce added for that extra oomph) and you can't go wrong.

I've tried quite a few of their selection, but Charlie's Chicken has been my goto ever since I tried it on my 3rd order.

I've since been by in person and the staff are amazing. Extremely kind and welcoming, excellent customer service. With this quality of food I wouldn't have even been angry if it was a "Waddya want?" type place, but it definitely isn't. This is the gold standard of how a customer should be treated anywhere.

I lived in Italy for a few years when I was younger and revisited several more times over the course of my life... and no one makes sandwiches better than Italians do. Da Marcos gives you the closest you can get to that taste here in Montreal. There are several close seconds but this place is the real deal, no doubt.

The staff is super friendly and competent. The quality of the food cuts no corners, none of the generic stuff, you get the prime trimmings. Ask for the special sauce as it brings the taste up to another level. Coffee is solid as well. Pricing is very reasonable.

They also do catering and had them cater to my office, it was a huge hit! Hope they keep on being successful, my only regret/complain is they're in St-Leonard and unfortunately are a fair way from where I live (Laval). Hope they open a second location one day and if they manage to do that,. keep the same quality they provide....

Everything was simply delicious and well made! I was actually shocked because recently I've been so disappointed when trying new places. Now It's like every restaurant owner want to squeeze the most money out of you while also serving you the cheapest food and ingredients possible and that's really not the impression I had after finishing my meal. I felt like everything was carefully crafted to offer you a real culinary experience. The sauce was unique and special, never had something like this. Even the salad on the side was delicious! It had eggplant and what seemed to be thinly sliced pickles with a mandolin. Last time I ordered my meal with a side salade it was just roughly sliced iceberg lettuce with half a tomato.
