Viva panettone — Local services in Montreal

First off, a big shout out to the woman taking care of the front desk. She opened the door for me and my brother and nicely gave me details about panettones.

I got a small chocolate one (thank you!) and a big signature. I have jdut tried the former and I have to say that is delicious! The consistency, taste and smell is so good that I make me want more.

I recommend this place so much. Congratulations for the quality and great customer service...

The service was good and the atmosphere of the little shop was cute but the Panettone itself was underwhelming given all the 5 star reviews. They have a lot of flavors that sound good so we bought a lot (1 kilo, 4x500g , and 4x250 g.. over $300 worth) but unfortunately all of them have been much drier than I would expect for the price. Le produit n’ était pas frais. J’ ai commandé en ligne de l’ extérieur du Québec et ma commande est arrivée en 7 jours (pas de problème avec ça). Ce qui me désappointe, c’ est l’ effort qui a été fait d’ enlever la date de péremption qui était sur l’ emballage. Quand j’ ai examiné mon reçu, j’ ai découvert qu’ il ne restait que 19 jours plutôt que 3 mois comme promis. C’ était donc un produit qui avait été préparé d’ avance pour Noël et qui est resté en inventaire. Ce n’ est vraiment pas la façon de se bâtir une clientèle. Received my order today, shelf life should have been around 3 months. The BB date is March 3, 2022, which is two weeks from now. The best before date was scratched off the panettone wrapping and I found it in very small print on my receipt. I ended up freezing the product, which is less than desirable. In all fairness, it is delicious, but I can’ t possibly eat the whole thing within 2 weeks. They could have had a lifetime customer, but now they got this review instead.
