Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Montreal

I had a very disappointing experience at this Second Cup location. I ordered three drinks (two hot, one cold), but my order was repeatedly prepared incorrectly. Initially, I received three cold drinks, and when I pointed out the mistake, only one hot drink was made, leaving one drink still missing.

When I addressed this again, the employee was rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. She even claimed I had only paid for two drinks, despite my receipt clearly showing payment for three. This lack of product knowledge and poor customer service is unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome.

This place is pitiful, not for customers but for the employees. I’ve had a talk with some of the employees about the place and how’s working there and they told me about the horrendous things they have to go through for a minimum wage job. Employees have to deal with difficult and racist customers and the manager does nothing to protect their own. They’re not allowed to take breaks and they have cockroach problems. I do not recommend this coffee shop . They have a normal selection of coffees and snack but in terms of employee benefits/treatment/and sanitary health regulation, it is really bad. I have talked to employees working there and they are not allowed breaks even if they do complete work days? Are we in 2022 or 1990? Dirty place in general.
