Subway — Restaurant in Montreal

Please retrain or relocate your employee who worked there during 2025 August 25 (Monday) 3 pm to 3.30 pm. The service and food is horrible compared to his colleague’s.

This employee disappeared from the counter for about 10 minutes. I waited patiently until he decided to show up but he seemed irritated when finding out there’s a customer. I ordered the ham and egg sandwich, then he started preparing the food without asking me which cheese, sauce and vegetables I wanted. He stuffed the sandwich only with ham and egg and tried to wrap it until I stopped him. Then he forced a smiled and asked me “is it okay?”……of course it was not okay!! I am NOT paying 5 dollars for two over cooked breads and 1 slice of ham with half an egg.

Really, considering that this shop is at the center of 3 McGill facilities and students come here all the time, retrain this employee or relocate him somewhere else or he is really bad for business. Imagine if I were a new student just got in town and got scared away about how lousy Subway is and...

Had a horrible experience at this subways. The was this middle eastern guy (Arab) working behind the counter. As I approached the counter to order. The Arab guy starts to make me wait for 5 mins while he’s writing something on paper. He didn’t prioritize or acknowledge I was there. As I got to the end, he didn’t even put my food inside the bag. As I was filling up my cup to choose which beverage I want to take. I begin to sit down and eat. The Arab guy starts to tell me I can’t sit here. I told him you never told me plus you never put my food inside the bag. He start to began rise his voice and tells me to get out. I told him paid for this meal. I have every right to be there. I said I’m making a formal complaint… avoid this subways. Especially if you see the Arab guy...

Service is subpar, special requests are ignored or contested, ingredients are often missing, and the hours are not reliable, as this Subway has always closed before its listed time, but now, whether it is 5 minutes before or 1h or more, seems to depend on the day. Despite the many shortcomings, this subway felt convenient enough for a while, but the service has taken a turn for the worse, particularly with the random closing time. I give it a 1 specifically because there is no point in a convenient meal, which is also expensive, if once you need it you have to cross your fingers twice, first hoping its open at the time it says it would, second that they get your meal right (particularly concerning for diet...
