Went here for breakfast this morning, Easter Sunday 2023. Restaurant was about 1/2 full so not overly busy at all. My fiancee ordered a ham and cheese omelet with home fries and toast 2/10 .. I ordered a 2 soft poached egg combo that came with hash browns, toast and Banana Strawberry French toast.. one agg was soft, one egg was hard .. overall my meal was good, I'd say about a 6.5/10. My fiancee' omelet arrived 1/2 cooked and runny. She has a raw egg allergy and kept saying she felt like it was her fault because she didnt say cook it well. As a now retired chef I told her it absolutely was not her fault and omelets do not show up runny under any circumstances and is a recipe for food poisoning. I told her if it was my kitchen, that cook/chef would be going home for the day without pay to think about how he almost poisoned someone The waitress noticed her spitting her piece omelet into a napkin and came directly to our table to see what was wrong, we told her what was up. She immediately apologized for the kitchens mistake and took it back to the kitchen to be cooked longer. It came back to the table about 1 minute later and I would say still under cooked and a little runny. Although our service was a little slow for a restaurant that wasn't busy, our server was extremely attentive to our table 9/10. My fiancee couldn't eat the rest of her omelet because she kept seeing the undercooked, runny parts in her omelet. We wanted to tip the server about 20-25% because overall she was very good, the restaurant has a built in 15% tip fee on CC/debit card payments which I think takes away money from servers who deserve a bigger tip for good or great service. Overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because if you can't make a ham and cheese omelet properly, I'd be very afraid for anything else to come from...
Read moreWe went there Easter Sunday for breakfast and the service was horrible. The attitude of the staff is very unprofessional. We had to ask for everything instead they suppose to provide us by default. Example with egg breakfast combo with potatoes and toast. You suppose to have SALT PEPPER KETCHUP AND JAM. But no they didn't even bother. I had to ask them. The pancakes for the kids were very hard and the chocolate milk portion was very very small... my kids didn't eat their pancakes. I had to ask for the coffee refill all the time. The waiter wasn't present . I had to look for him in order to ask for anything to be served.. The best thing in the end he comes with the bill woth TIPS included. I ask him why the tip is included, he said I have no choice to pay for it and it's a law. I have to give him 15% tip. My food order was 146$ and his tip was 22$ which equals to 168$. I told him I'll never give you a rip for bad service. He was insisting that I had no choice. So I ask for the manager and the manager is telling me the same thing. Also he start giving me excuses about the service. he quote oh sir this us our fitmrst day for the terasse * i replied since when this is a customer problem ...also I told him your service was bad and you still oblige me to pay him tip . He said sir. You have no choice, when I was discussing with him . One of his waiter had an audacity to interfere in the matter. I don't think the person was acting as a manager was actually a manager. I never had such an unprofessional behavior and 3rd class service. Honestly the food was good and expensive. I end up giving the waiter 15$ tip because I know they have to declare 7% tips of the total sales. I will not recommend anyone to go eat at that place. I really had a bad experience and ill highly recommend to...
