(Francais plus bas) Realy disaponted cost 70$ for 2 without alcool and food was realy not good ceaser salad strange taste look like the dressing had turn or i dont know but had a weird taste so we didnt ate it even if we was starving then we had in main plate the linguini with mussels The pasta was realy dried and the mussels over cooked and realy salty we had also the veal scalop with withe wine lemon sauce the lemon sauce was made with citron confit wich i usualy realy enjoy but its important to balance flavor and dont put too much in sauce bcause this is realy bitter and salty. Obviously they dont taste the plates they serve thats sad bcause its a beautiful restaurant with view on lachine canal. Bcause we complaint about food manager offer us turamisu wich was realy good but also said i served ceaser salad to 150 people today nobody complaint wich come to same to tell its you not the food.... So in fact we would had love better having good food then free tiramisu and will not get back at 80$ with tip without alcool it certainly doesnt worst it.
Read moreThe food is good (7/10), just average for Italian food. Easy dishes like the salads and antipastos are very delicious. Pasta was very good, and the fresh bread was delicious. The main dishes around my entire table were lackluster. Chicken breast was dry, sauce on the veal was strange and too salty, sides like rice or potatoes lacked flavor. Our entire table (12 people) was surprised considering all the other dishes in our meal were very good.
The restaurant itself is very picturesque and beautiful. However there were a few things that seemed 'off' for such a recently renovated resto. Reminiscent of a home that is quickly renovated to appear nice for quick sale but disregards some serious issues. Our visit was in the winter, and there was a major issue with temperature control. Everybody was freezing cold. The bathrooms were especially ice cold and there was no hot water. The cobwebs in the windows were shocking, as if they have not been cleaned in years (with such a view the windows should be kept clean).
The wait staff is very friendly, however the blonde female manager is fake and not very accommodating. She seems to be a highly stressed individual, often scolding her staff in front of the clients (it is obvious) and she insisted that 3 people at our table did not pay the bill. In the middle of a party we had to search for our proof of our credit card payment. I'm not impressed and sadly I will not be returning. Would...
Read moreWe recently held our wedding reception upstairs at Taormina Lounge, and our guests can’t stop raving about the food and service! I’ve been to weddings where the head table finishes eating long before the last table is served, but that certainly wasn’t the case here. Guests had a choice of four entrées selected on the day, and every plate arrived hot, delicious, and exactly as ordered.
We also had several guests with severe food allergies, and thanks to our advance notice, they were accommodated flawlessly—such a relief when dealing with serious allergies. The servers were attentive and amazing throughout the evening.
Another highlight was the in-house DJ, who also offered a photo booth. Both were a huge hit! He made sure the photo booth was easy to use without disrupting the flow of the music. We had given him specific requests for the cocktail hour and dinner, along with a wide mix of genres for dancing, and he handled our eclectic tastes perfectly.
Elena was an absolute delight to work with—warm, personable, and incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly, guided us through the setup and the event itself, and was even there afterwards to make sure all went smoothly.
We couldn’t be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this beautiful space for any gathering—or even just for dinner. Thank you, Elena, Stéphane, and the entire team, for helping make our day so...
