Without fail this tim Hortons regularly disappoints. It's unfortunate because this is a small yet nice location. There are always lots of people working yet It takes forever to get served and when you do finally get your food there is often a problem with the order. If it's not a problem with your order, it's a problem with the order of the person in front of you. It's also not uncommon to see someone return their order because it was wrong and come back upset again because the replacement order was still wrong. There can be nobody in line in front of you and it still takes 15-20 minutes to get a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich.
Here are just a couple of examples from my recent visits: I ordered potato wedges, I got a ½ full container with soggy potato wedges and was told that was the serving I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, the bagel had so little cream cheese you would think it's butter I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and bacon, they forgot the bacon. When I went back for my bacon they made me a new bagel with bacon, but almost no cream cheese. I ordered an iced coffee with no ice, they filled the cup ½ full and told me that was the serving if you don't take ice. coffee is often burnt
This location does not respect recommended serving sizes. Don't expect to receive the food you ordered based on what you saw in the photos on the menu because you will be disappointed.
I have reached out to Tim Hortons customer service multiple times and they say the same thing every time: it's a franchise and they will pass the information on to the franchisee and they will get back to you....but...
Read moreWaited in a long line up in the drive-thu (not a problem as it was rush hour after work), & once at the ordering screen, I hear a barely intelligible, strongly accented and bored "allo?", as if someone was answering a personal call vs the typical business greeting. I said my coffee order clearly (in french), and I got a mumbled reply which I didn't understand, so I said (in french), I didn't understand you, but I will repeat, to which I then repeated my simple coffee order. I think he asked if I wanted anything else, to which I said no thank you, that is all. I drove to the window to where a woman held a small carton of milk and a coffee and asked in a bored, I'm dead inside voice and attitude, if this was my order, I said no and repeated my coffee order, she then put the milk carton aside and handed me the coffee, I was holding my Tim's points card to try to have her scan it, she didn't even look at me while she held out the debit machine out the window, I had to get her attention to let her know I wanted her to scan my card, she then scanned it quickly (it didn't make any sound, I don't even think it actually registered), then I paid for the coffee by paypass. I left not even trusting that my coffee order was correct, or knowing if I was charged for the milk or not etc. This is a location on my way home from work in which, should the service had been even decent, I would have gladly continued to buy from there every day on my way home. Read moreI ordered through the mobile app for drive-thru, upon arrival at the window I was told "due to COVID, all orders are delt with inside", I find the drive-thru is more safe, especially if you have a mask on but they refused to serve through the drive-thru.
When I entered the Tim Hortons I then had to wait in line for over 20 minutes with multiple people. This was somehow "the safest option". Finally I reach the counter, my order was two wraps and a latte. I am told the latte machine is broken, I could match the price of the latte with several regular coffees or I could request a refund, I requested a refund. They told me they could not give me a refund and that I would have to write a request on their app. By requesting a refund I was also not allowed to recieve my wraps. I walked out of the store $15 lighter and with nothing to show for it.
I wrote an email to their help service, they claimed they would get back to within 2 working days. They did not. I wrote again, nothing. I wrote two more times and I was met with more silence.
12 days later, I was shown on the app that I was allowed to a receive a refund on the spot through the manager but they told me...
