Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Montreal

Typical tims. (P.s: theres no drive-thru its in the mall and tiny. Some reviewers have clearly never been here.) Edit: it just got dropped to 1 star for, let's be blunt, shear incompetence. I asked for no cheese in my egg muffin sandwich and bacon well done. I get a raw bacon with cheese muffin sandwich. I tell them (being very nice about it) that i asked no cheese and bacon cooked well. They remake it and got the no cheese right but bacon is still raw. I ask for cooked bacon. Get told it's cooked already. I say no, I want it more cooked. Put it back in microwave for another 20 seconds.(which other tims have no problems doing) i get told they dont cooked bacon in the microwave and it comes pre-cooked already. At this point, I'm baffled by the incompetence and turn my attention to my ice coffee. I specifically asked if what they had was the new batch, she said yes. I said, are you sure because there was a recall for the peanut taste. They say yes. Surprise, i get the peanut taste coffe. I said i want normal ice coffee, not the recalled batch. They make another, peanut again. I tell them these were recalled, why are you serving this still. I get a everything is normal answer and im the crazy one. Took my money back. Got rolled eyes a few times. Maybe if tims paid properly, the employee would care a little more. This wasn't the first interaction with issues at this place. Poor and slow service. Embarrassing lack of selection in terms of food items. Workers who don't say bonjour or have a good day. Workers who don't know how to make an iced capp either. So either there's lack of training or just sheer incompetence. Employees who work at a snail's pace which means the line is extremely long no matter when you go. The location is constantly understaffed with a girl on her own operating the cash, making drinks, and restocking food items. Ever since the pandemic they went downhill. Only positive side is the abundance of seating in the shopping centre. Very sad what...

Ce tim Horton est situé dans l'air de restauration des Halles d'Anjou. Si ce lieu est pratique, il n'est certainement pas le plus agréable. Par chance, en pleine semaine et tôt en matinée, c'était calme.

Le comptoire était ouvert en même temps que l'établissement et donc bien avant la majorité des boutiques. Ce faisant, les tables étaient déjà bien remplies lors de mon passage!

Les étales étaient remplies de pâtisseries. Certaines semblaient savoureuses et même plus alléchantes qu'à la pâtisserie située à deux pas et d'autres semblaient avoir subie une cuisson légèrement plus (trop) longue.

L'attente ne fut pas trop longue. Les deux employées communiquaient très bien entre elles et se partageaient les tâches efficacement. Donc la clientèle obtenait rapidement leur commande!

Personnellement j'en ai profité pour sélectionner une offre anniversaire. N'ayant jamais utilisé cette récompense chez Tim et étant malhabile, j'ai demandé un coup de pouce à la personne à la caisse (l'application n'ayant pas fonctionnée pour la commande en ligne). Sans fla-fla, mais tout de même aimable, cela s'est réglé rapidement. Une petite confusion de la part de l'employé m'a fait comprendre que ce Tim ne fait pas d'infusion glacée! C'est donc à prendre en considération pour les températures plus chaude et estivale!

Ma commande (très simple) s'est réglée rapidement et en moins de deux (le temps de faire le tour du comptoire), j'avais mon café en main (café torréfaction foncée).

En définitive pour une commande à emporter ca va très bien, mais pour déguster sur place, c'est à voir!

Tim est inscrit dans la région depuis longtemps et fait parti du décor canadien, je vais donc surement y retourner pour un café...
