As a person not at all acquainted with food that’s from this region, everything was so divine! I went with four other people and we each chose to get a different dish just to share as much as we can that’s on the menu, and we could all agree that the taste exceeded all of our expectations! It’s unlike anything we ever had before, every dish was seasoned soo differently from another and the ingredients were all so fresh! Food was reasonably priced too considering the portion size, and their menu has a lot, if not mostly only lamb in it, with one of my friends usually never eating lamb since she dislikes the taste, but she tasted some of our dishes and just started digging in, that’s how good it was! The staff was so kind and accommodating too, despite us staying in their restaurant for an hour not ordering anything since we were waiting for all our friends to arrive. They also refilled our tea many times without us knowing, the service was just impeccable. I truly recommend this restaurant to anyone out there, even for those who tend to not like East Asian food since the flavours are not at all comparable to anywhere else in the world. I’m looking forward...

Went there around 17:00 ordered 4 lamb kebab + 2 kidney. Waiting time is around 15mins as there’s only one table, and it’s fairly though.
BUT, the lamb kebab was prepared by literally pure lean meat and no salt. It was cooked too long. I am pretty sure it’s lamb not chicken breast though.
And for the kidney, across China mainland, you’ll never seen that kinda style kidney kebab. The kidney of theirs was prepared as a whole one instead of sliced into two half, so I got a bunch of whole kidney BALLS, and there was no fat layer covering the kidney, plus it was over cooked too.
Because the meat was pure lean and kidney cooked without fat, I just took 2 bites each and packed rest to leave. After back home I used traditional Shandong cuisine way to cooked all the meat as a frying onion lamb, and for the kidney I sliced it and heated them by oven. But the kidney had been over cooked too much at restaurants, for the dehydrated and dry kidney, there is no many ways to save it actually.

Read moreThis is the only place I've ever had Uyghur dishes so I have nothing to compare to but I will attest that the food was delicious. I had the VIP leghmen and the lamb skewers which was recommended by the waitress as I didn't know much about Uyghur cuisine. I was very satisfied with her recommendation but I think on my next visit I will try something more adventurous. The noodles had a chewy bite to it which was very satisfying, the lam skewers were very flavorful and tender. Note that the lamb skewers is not an appetizer as the portions for the skewers is not small. I highly recommend if you're going to order the leghmen that you order some bread also to soak up all the soup at the bottom, that's where all the flavor is. Highly...
