Coq-o bec-lasalle — Restaurant in Montreal

I used to enjoy ordering from this restaurant after tonight I will no longer be ordering here anymore. I called the restaurant to alert them that I received a chicken meal that was not cooked. The lady then proceeded to tell me that it’s impossible that the chicken cannot be cooked and all the chicken is cooked at the same time I understand that you cook the chicken all together in big quantities does not mean that sometimes one of the chickens was not put in at the right temperature, and it does happen what made me the most upset was the fact that she didn’t wanna listen to me when I’m telling her that there was blood in my chicken. She’s telling me that I am wrong and that there’s blood in my food. I have been a certified chef for over 12 years so I know the difference between cooked chicken and not chicken and the chicken was not cooked. Had me on hold for about 20 minutes disputing the issue and she just wanted to scream over me. I asked to speak to the manager the owner. She told me no and had me on hold for about 20 minutes, when I finally called back after she hung up on me to speak to the manager, she advised me that the kitchen is busy and the manager will call me back in an hour disgusting customer service at most. It’s not the point that the chicken wasn’t cooked properly is the fact that you did not want to apologize for the error of your business mistake. I hope to God that you never have to experience customer service like this from somebody and the way how you treated me. when I also called back, she was like I thought you were calling health Canada yes I will be calling health Canada so that nobody has to go through getting food poisoning from your mistake and you not owning up to it. Please keep your loved ones safe, and just save yourselves...

I am pretty disappointed. Its my 2nd time calling there and the 1st time was wow. Loved the poutine but today i was really disappointed. Almost no chicken... compared to last time crunchy good pieces of chicken, fries were hard and not fresh and crispy like the last time. I tried to share very nicely my experience to the manager and he had zero empathy watsover he could not care less. All he didis defend himself saying he put pieces of chicken and "no no no" to eveything i say.... i wanted to speak to the owner of the place but no one had his contact no one cares the receptionist doesnt know nothing not even what is a mixed poutine. Never calling there again. I was not even offered another pourine NO...

This place used to be a quality restaurant. My husband had the club sandwich and said it had an after taste like the bread had freezer burn or just didn't taste fresh. When we called to complain, the woman argued with us saying that's impossible because their bread is fresh. She didn't let us speak and just kept arguing and talking over me. They can deny it all they to want but it was not fresh. We will never order from...
