Workers obviously don’t take pride in working at the restaurant anymore. Wrong orders, no communication with customers, website offering selections that are now not offered, while not offering item selections that are offered. I’d suggest only eating dine in, because the last 4-5 orders made for delivery have been incorrect and missing items. When you get the correct food, it’s delicious; but it’s becoming more and more of a hassle to get the correct food. My example today would be ordering online, I ordered chicken and rib combo ($5 more than the small rack of ribs) I got no chicken , only ribs. I also included some maple bacon wings in my order for delivery… I guess they didn’t have that kind anymore (even though it’s still an option on the website to choose from and I ordered it 2 days ago with no issues..); instead of calling to see what I would like to switch it to; they made the executive decision to switch it for maple mustard and not consult the customer who is paying for the food. Not only do I dislike mustard and would not eat that option, but the container came to me with both the honey mustard and the ranch containers squished and spilled all over the wings so I couldn’t even choose to just eat them plain if I wanted to! They didn’t explode or the top didn’t just “pop” off; both lids were squished INTO the sauce container! Yet the container that the wings and sauces were in was not dented at all, which tells me that the sauces were placed into the container like that. Last time we ordered we PAID for extra sauces - didn’t receive them. A few orders ago, They WROTE on my food lid about ordering extra sauce through the extra ordering tab, yet they don’t have the salad dressing option that I had asked extra for as an option to click on. So I chose ranch and wrote in special instructions which dressing I’d prefer because there was not a clickable option for it - they didn’t read the special instructions and just gave me ranch. So they write me notes on my food lid when I ask for extra dressing in the special instructions of the salad im ordering because “it should be an extra cost”, but screw up when I try to order extra dressing the way they specifically asked me to do it.
LESSON LEARNED - only eat dine in or for order for pick up so you can ensure you get what you pay for. If ordering pick up, ALWAYS double check your order before leaving the parking lot. I had always raved about red barn and how amazing it was but that enthusiasm has been dwindling with every incorrect order. It’s expected to have these kind of problems when ordering through delivery apps such as skip the dishes or uber eats, but not expected when you order directly from the restaurant. Paid delivery & tip cost and STILL had to go into the restaurant because of no communication and screw ups. I gave red barn so many chances over these past 2 years, I was understanding and forgiving and kept giving them another chance. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different result. I must step off this insanity roller coaster because though I hear a “sorry”, nothing changes. Same problems every time. Icing on the cake was them removing my review from their Facebook page. Wrote this same review on their Facebook reviews; and it’s no longer there 🧐 That’s some sketchy behaviour. Trying to hide the bad reviews in order to show the positive reviews?! I don’t know; maybe consider better service and you wouldn’t have bad reviews to hide in the...
Read moreI have never been so disappointed by a sandwich- A Memoir.
This place had THE BEST reviews (+ the most), and came highly recommended by my sister.
I called in my order and was told it'd be ready in 25 mins. Great, I've been driving all day and I am HUNGRY with a mean craving for a clubhouse sandwich.
I get there just after 25 mins and pay for my order- the server tells me it'll be a few mins as they're still working on it. 15 mins goes by and I ask another server if she can check on my order- they haven't started it yet.
I'm frustrated at this point because it's been 45 mins since I placed my order, I've been driving for the last 13 hours, I'm hungry, my sister (who is waiting in the car) is hungry and we want to check into our hotel to catch some zzz's.*
After waiting half an hour, we finally have our dinner. We bring the food to our hotel and eagerly dig in. But the garden salad for the (specified) vegetarian has bacon in it. The clubhouse has two tiny slices of tomato, and it's missing the unique extra slice of bread that makes it a "Clubhouse".
I understand that sh*t happens. I was extremely disappointed to say the least.
*The staff were very sweet when I expressed my frustration about the wait and I accepted desserts and beverages...
Read moreFirst time being here and the food was great! But the waitress decided to cut me off on drinks for no apparent reason, my friend had the same amount and was not cut off. I was not rude or making a seen either, we even asked another server if I seemed out of hand or rude and she said no, so neither could give me straight answer to why they wouldn't serve me, just simply I had to much to drink and he was fine. But the 2 gentlemen at the bar that were there before i got there and drinking at the same pace were fine? Pretty biased if you ask me! I may be shorter than the average man but I'm also not a runt and I know how to hold my own when it comes to drinking, the only way they could find it justifiable was when she asked if I was driving or not and I said yes "being honest " like everyone else in this establishment because it's-35 outside and no one is walking in this weather and she agreed with me but still the decision was final. If I felt that drunk I would of got a ride either way! I was really enjoying your establishment and I was looking forward to a new favorite place to come visit regularly, till this happened. I can't say I'll be back any time soon if that's how they want treat...
