Acropolis Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mount Pearl

This place just hits the spot every single time. Every single time should be described as post bar and late night eats.

The single slice late night pizza is damn good and the value is also amazing.

I got one bacon, pepperoni, and cheese slice that is essentially two giant slices for $6.50. it is served in a small pizza box because it is so large. If you have a fat soul, you will be happy af finished both slices. Otherwise, just eat one slice and save the other half for tmrw.

The pizza is covered in giant pepperoni slices. When I say covered, I mean every single inch of that pizza, below the main crust, is covered in pepperoni. I lifted this to check. Then the pepperoni is completely covered in cheese. Finally, the slices of bacon. The bacon is sparse at times but that is the only fault I can give this pizza.

Service is quick. Pizza is hot. Crust is the perfect chew and crunch. I always get this when I am in the area.

I can only imagine losing my mind if I get the pizza fresh from this...

One of the worst experiences with pizza. I used to love the place but something changed drastically with the pizza. About a year ago we ordered a large pizza and when it came here it was literally soaked in grease. It was sliding off our plates and disgusting. We let it sit in the box overnight and the next day we opened it and the grease hardened and covered the whole pizza in a white gel of grease. It was absolutely wretched. So my family and I never ordered from their again. A year later we decided to give it anot her shot. Called and placed our order with a young woman that was very rude and when we got there our order was wrong. So we just took half of our order home. It was a pizza. When we opened it and grabbed a slice it was once again just covered in grease and tasted disgusting. If you want an overload in soggy grease pizza pie and throw up afterwards this is the place to go. The food at Acropolis appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. Acropolis is best known for pizza, poutines, nachos and late night drunk food. When not overrun by high school students on lunch break, the shop is both clean and tidy—despite having limited space and more customers than can fit inside at one time—and all the staff members there greeted my friends and me with smiles. I would thoroughly recommend Acropolis to anyone. The Pizza and Garlic finger combos are always a good deal. The nachos can be big enough servings for a crew of friends. The poutines are filling.
