Went to pick a sub up for my lunch break. Upon eating a bit of the sub found the dough of the bun was raw, uncooked, and chewy. Went back to inform the employee of the bread. Was told “it was made fresh today” I then told him “it’s still raw and chewy though” he continued to argue with me that it was impossible since it was made today. He got rude but did offer to make another sub saying “it’ll be the same bread though” I asked for a refund as I did not want another sub from the raw and uncooked batch as that is a recipe for food poisoning and they refused to give me a refund saying I had to call the head office with photos, even after I showed him the sub right then and there. Staff decided to start asking people to e-transfer him the money for the sub or download the app and make an account to order and buy the sub online and when people refused or didnt have the app he asked for phone numbers and names to call them when the machine was back on. When they refused again instead of customer service and just giving the sub away he took it to throw it out rather then just let the customer take the food. Such a waste of food and customer service. Last couple of times it’s been very sloppy and tonight the bread was so hard you could hardly bite down into the sub. Super overcooked to the point it wasn’t really edible. We also bought a cookie and again really hard and the m&ms were burned. This is our favourite subway in all the city. Hoping it doesn’t continue.
