Loved Opa, not anymore! Went there tonight, my daughter and I ordered souvlaki platters, which are supposed to come with salad, pita bread, rice and potato with tzatziki. The young lady taking our order seemed confused and unsure of what she was doing but she was left alone to take our order. We were given a plate with one skewer of meat with Caesar salad and pita bread, I said we ordered the platters, another young lady said that’s not what she punched in , but we will give you the potatoes and rice and won’t charge you. (Geez thanks). The food was so disappointing. The meat was not put on the grill and so was cold, my daughter’s Caesar salad had no dressing, mine had way too much, the croutons were stale. Half of my daughter’s rice was dried out. The worst thing was the tzatziki, it tasted awful, was so salty it was not edible. The tzatziki tasted like it was made with mayonnaise instead of yogurt. My fries were overly seasoned too. I had to go to another vendor to get an oversized drink to wash it down. My mouth was on fire and salted and I could not finish the meal. I went to the staff and they just shrugged...
Read moreOpa is my favorite fast food. I love the chicken souvlaki wrap with Opa fries and Tziki sauce. On this particular day, it was extremely busy and the wait was very long. The person in front of me ordered, and the girl taking the order read it back to her..when she went to pick it up, she was missing something?!?! Not sure how that happened because of the communication I just described. The person working made her go back to to register and pay. I think in that instance, they should have just given her what she said she had asked for...because the line up was ridiculously long and as a result, made things even more backed...
