Leo's Pizza and Greek Taverna — Restaurant in Nelson

Under cooked pasta is not enjoyable nor was our visit to this restaurant.

While they never charged for the dish, the management never visited our table either. Nothing was offered while I sat and watched my partner eat (on a date night). They didn't even offer to keep his meal warm while mine was remade so that we could eat together. He was finished by the time I got my second plate of under cooked pasta. At this point I was told it couldn't be cooked any better. (Basicly I was the problem)

I was even asked by the server if I wanted the food to go (takeout) which kind of defeats the purpose of going out to eat.

We have ordered take out numerous times and had no issues with how the gluten-free pasta was cooked.

It won't be on our list of places to go next time we feel like eating out. I'll stick to take out if I even bother to support this establishment in the future after management's lack of interest in their patrons and...

I was looking for somewhere different to eat during my stay in Nelson and I happened to just type in Pasta and the first restaurant to pop up was Leo's...I didn't have to look any further since I have found Greek style restaurants always make the best Baked Lasagna's and I was thrilled to order and try the Lasagna from Leo's...soooo good and I also ordered the Zucchini sticks appetizer with house made Tzatziki ... the appetizer could have been a meal on its own and was so tasty I actually have 1/2 a lasagna to eat for left overs because I couldn't finish it, I was that full!

Thanks Leo's Pizza and Greek Taverna I will definitely be back and am adding your restaurant to the top of my Top 3 places to...

The food was okay. I mean they’ve always had really good lasagna so no complaints there. The chicken souvlaki was tough, I’d suggest thighs rather than breasts, the Greek salad was also meh, 3 olives do not a salad make. I’m nit picking on this one but bite sized pieces in the salad would be better than the current size for the salad bites. Seasoning was okay. What really got me was the tzatziki. Not enough garlic or lemon and bland as hospital food. For the 120 I spent on dinner for myself and family it was not worth it. I won’t be back. It used to have good food....
