I chose to spend my money at this location and it was a total mistake. Stood at the counter for quite awhile without even a nood from an employee. Then when one did come to the counter, no hello or smile. I placed my order and wanted 2 pies. Was rudely told by this red haired employee.."nope all out". So I paid for my meal and waited. A customet standing there as well said to me.."Ive seen worse"..when my meal came she shoved my tray at me and walked away. I walked over to get my drink and quickly turned around and went back to get some pkg ketchup because they condiment station was dirty. She looked at me and said.."what".. can you image getting that response from an employee?? Before I walked away I said to this very rude red haired employee.." a smile and a pleasant personality go along ways when it comes to good customer service". That rude employee said back to me.." you should get one first". I was in food service for 35 years and a manager for 24 and never in all that time had I ever ever spoke to a customer like she spoke to me. A rude employee like her would not have been tolerated and would have been fired for that comment. I would have gotten her name but she pointed out to me that she was not wearing a name tag and seemed to be very proud of it too. The operators of that McDonalds obviously dont either know how to hire employees or just plain dont care about what they put behind the counter. The operators should be hanging their heads in embarassment and shame to have an employee representing their business. So to anyone planning on spending their hard earned money in that restaurant..DONT.. I am not done with this situation. I took pics of what their condiment station and pop station looked like..disgusting..obviously when the boss is away all the staff does is play and be rude to customers..This restaurant...
Read moreSlow slow slow and so very inconsistent. What was wrong with the old systems McDonald's had in place to serve people? They only have 2 cash registers instead of the old 4, the automatic system does not get you your meal any faster, it is just a mess. I kid you not, almost every order had a mistake; people coming in from drive thru complaining that simple things like mayonnaise was missing from their burger. You know it's bad when a company acknowledges how slow they are by putting 'leaning bumpers' in for you to hang while you wait for them to grow the potatoes and slaughter the livestock, because that is the only reason I can think of for it being so slow. You can get a meal from a 'sit down' restaurant faster and most likely free of mistakes. I miss the good ol'days when they messed up your food; they would give you your current incorrect order for free and the next time you visit is also free. If it ain't broke...
Read moreDelicious fast food to be had here! But then again, it is McDonald's, so that usually is to be expected. Unlike the McDonald's located near the trans-canada highway, this restaurant is a dedicated McDonald's joint, so store managers had more time to invest in improving the building over the years.
With that being said, the quality of the service found here is much better than the other McDonald's in Oromocto. You'll get your food served faster here, and the burgers are not thrown together.
There is also a self-serve kiosk which seems to be a new thing with a lot of McDonald's restaurants these days. You place your order without actually speaking with anybody. It's nice to have because you get to see a visual representation of your order, so there's less human error and miscommunication when speaking with someone.
