If you’re on your way to the East Coast of Canada, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stop to eat at this restaurant. For us, it was the first taste of what was to come on our east coast trip, and proved to be better than many ā€œfineā€ establishments we ate at on the east coast. The lobster roll is delicious, and getting it with the fries is well worth it. My friend had the lobster club and really enjoyed it. I also got the seafood chowder which was amazing: a little cheesy, packed full of fresh seafood and vegetables and perfectly cooked potatoes. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get! Don’t eat at Tim’s or Subway, eat HERE!

We’re looking for a Tim Horton’s breakfast on our way from RiviĆØre du Loup to Amherst and saw this place. The line up at Timmys was long so we thought we’d give it a chance. So happy we did. We all had omelettes and they were awesome. The server was friendly and joked with us. The coffee was almost as good as Timmys and the omelettes came with toast and hashbrowns. They were a good size and fuelled us for the day. I’d recommend it for sure. It didn’t take much longer than it would have if we were waiting for Tim Hortons and was much better.

Good food, reasonable price, safety place to sleep at night with good internet connection. Recommend get their break fast salsage with bacon. On way back from Nova Scotia, we tried their lobster poutine and buttered calamari and i was very good. The lobster poutine was cheaper than in Halifax as well.

For a "Seafood" fast food restaurant, they seem to have more non-seafood items on the menu than seafood items. Half the seafood items they do have on the menu seem to always be out of stock. No crab rangoons, again, I guess. The service was quick and friendly. The eating area is fairly clean but could use some love. The booth I was seated in had a slanted table. The bathrooms were attrocious. They are shared with the truckstop. Don't expect to eat here for under $20 per person. I ordered a 2 pcs Fish 'N Chips and 1 lobster roll. The lobster roll alone came out to $16+tax. There was a good amount of lobster meat but just a single piece of lettuce on a very dry toasted hotdog bun. My order came out to $35 and there wasnt even a drink included. It was good, hot, and plentiful but they have a long way to go on pricing before becoming competitive in the "fast food" world. The food was good though. I'll be back next time I'm...

The Pirate restaurant is wedge between a Tim Horton and a gas/convenience store, so during the day, it is busy. Had to wait a few minutes before I could order (there's a queue).

Went there hoping to get cooked lobster to bring back home, but The Pirate restaurant stopped selling cooked lobster since last year šŸ˜ž maybe because of covid.

Ordered the lobster roll and fried clam strips for the kids. We sat with other customers from Tim Horton as theres no dedicated section for customers of The Pirate. The kids said the lobster roll were bland, just some mayonnaise taste and that's it. But they loved the fried clam strip.

The people in Edmundston are very nice and friendly, will go back and visit again in the future. Hopefully The Pirate will restart selling cooked...

Sadly this service was so unacceptable. For the amount of money that is charged , a man in the back threw my lobster on the take out window and then slapped on the counter the additional garlic butter I purchased… all because it was his mistake and didn’t get the order right. Then because he was irritated 😠 n having to give me our correct order, didn’t even have the courtesy to add my lobster appropriately, it looked like scraped leftovers going into the trash… I am so disappointed in this service. I look forward to stopping in here on my travels, & never have really experienced great service, but i will not be again and will recommend to everyone I know to not as well… he needs to...
