Ordered two milk teas here and noticed they tasted burnt, particularly their tapioca. The tapioca was also too soft and not chewy making me think they’re far overcooked. There were also these gritty pieces that tasted burnt. When I dumped out the drinks into a clear cup, I could see these dark burnt bits very clearly (you can see on my spoon and on the inside of the cup). It seems like the tapioca were not made fresh and despite having been burnt to the point of having dark burnt bits, they were still served to customers. Very disappointed at the quality control of this location. I’ve been to three other Kung Fu Tea locations across the GTA and never had this issue. Threw out both drinks halfway through. Given how expensive these drinks are getting and how much of a treat it is to order them, I hope the manager of this location will re-evaluate the quality control procedures to ensure this doesn’t occur again.

If you haven’t tried this tea shop yet- GO! They have so many interesting flavours & combinations, I want to try them all! The interior is fresh, clean & modern. I especially love the accessibility to read the screens & it allows for more time to browse all of the options available. I ordered the Earl Grey Milk Tea with brown sugar tapioca. The tea was perfectly chilled & the tapioca was warm and fresh. I will DEFINITELY be back! Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place! Their tapioca is the best in Newmarket. Always warm and the right level of chewy. They have an amazing selection, but my go to is the mango green tea and it is phenomenal. Featured in the photo is the mango slush (ideal for summer months). My husband tries something new every time and he is also always impressed. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They also have great promotional offers/discounts here and there!

*Would give this a ZERO star if i could * I normally order through uber eats so i am not sure how the service normally is. I decided to go in stores to order on Friday night and not only was the service terrible but the staff was also very disrespectful.

While taking my order, the worker had 3 other people behind the counter with her, one who i assumed is on the clock and two other males who had their backpacks on walking in and out of the kitchen and cash area (one mentioned that they ubered here even though they did not have work.) The worker that was taking my order was not only carrying on her own conversations with her friends but also made me feel like i was interrupting their conversation during the whole time i was trying to order. Her friend had to even tell her to pay attention to the customer (me) because she seemed to forgot that i was there.

While waiting for my order, everyone that was behind the counter was talking extremely loud, one was also very vocal that she does not follow the measurements of the drinks and is unsure if the drink is made correctly. The three other people basically said that they wing the drinks as they dont care about the measurements. I remember them talking about the drinks and the workers making my order saying something along the lines of " opps, that was wrong" and next you know the order was ready, so i am uncertain if the order was made incorrectly or if the "opps" was part of their own conversation.

One of our milk tea's that we ordered was extremely milky and did not have any other flavour to it other than milk, even when there was grass jelly in it.

Not only was this very unprofessional, it also brings a terrible reputation to this bubble tea chain. I understand that the workers were young, however that was no way to treat anyone. After this experience, not sure if i will get my drinks from this location again. Extremely...

I came here on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't too busy, just the atmosphere that I liked. I was craving a original milk tea with tapioca, however I am lactose intolerant. I had the staff on site aware of my condition, and they were not only extremely friendly, but accommodating as they had lactose free options, which was the pearl latte with brown sugar. As I waited to receive my drink, I noticed that they also had food on the menu, ranging from Taiwanese sausage to popcorn chicken to Taiwanese squid balls which really scratched my itch for something snack size. The owners were very friendly. conversational and accommodating to my dietary needs. Overall, my experience with this location has be spectacular, I will be definitely be coming back and I suggest that if you're in the area, come pay this location a visit as it will be...
