Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Newmarket

I'm an iced capp aficionado. That being said, I get that Tim Hortons has high turnover. However, I cannot recommend this Tim Hortons. I always ask for my iced capp made a specific way (espresso shot added on top after mixing the iced capp, to avoid a watered down drink). The cashier assures me that's how they make it but that is A LIE! Almost every time, they lazily make it how they feel like making it. Asking them to redo it to order garners dirty looks from staff. I'm sick of this treatment. Talking to the manager, I see where the problems stem from. She's rude to her staff and sets a very poor hygiene example (greasy unbrushed hair). She is a restaurant manager, not a trades worker. I'm just so disappointed with the way they treat me like a nuisance instead of a valued customer. I may give them a chance to retain my business, as I do believe in redemption arcs, but you'd be better off going to a different Tim's in the area for the time being. Consistently disappointing. Very slow drive thru service and frequently incorrect drinks received from drive thru. I mean, even when you're the only car in the drive thru, they can mess up a single coffee.

EDIT: I wish I could leave less than one star. It's been a year since I've left my first review of this drive thru. Over the past year, still consistently disappointing. Easily the worst Tim's in the area, including hepatitis Horton's where the tasty coffee and fast, friendly service outweigh the continued stigma of fear of infection.

Today, this location let me sit at the drive thru speaker for 3 minutes and didn't have the courtesy to greet me or ask for me to wait. They served both cars in front of me. After another minute of silence, I just left with only a serving of disappointment. I will not be returning to...

This location has a well organized crew typically. Drive-thru is usually smooth, counter/walk in is good service as well. One of the biggest problems I have with drive-thru is other customers in cars that smoke 🚬& they don't realize it's getting into the kitchen at the takeout window. Especially if they flick it & it smolders on the ground at the window. It's horrible 2nd hand smoke. The drive-thru is littered with cigarette butts. These customers also don't have respect for the environment or the restaurant the staff still have to sweep the cigarette butts up. Which delays staff even more conducting amazing service.
