As a college student, finding a reliable spot for a quick and satisfying meal is essential, and Harvey's has consistently proven to be a go-to option for me and my friends. Nestled in the heart of our bustling college town, Harvey's serves up mouthwatering burgers and other fast-food favorites that never disappoint.
First and foremost, let's talk about the burgers. Harvey's prides itself on its build-your-own-burger concept, allowing customers to customize their meal to their heart's content. From the type of bun to the array of toppings and sauces, the possibilities are endless. As a picky eater with specific preferences, I appreciate having the freedom to create a burger that suits my taste perfectly. Whether I'm in the mood for classic lettuce and tomato or feeling adventurous with grilled mushrooms and jalapenos, Harvey's has me covered.
But it's not just about the burgers; Harvey's also offers a variety of other menu options to satisfy any craving. Their crispy chicken sandwiches are a personal favorite of mine, boasting juicy chicken breast and a satisfying crunch with every bite. And let's not forget about the sides – the golden, crispy fries are the perfect accompaniment to any meal, and the onion rings are downright addictive.
What sets Harvey's apart from other fast-food joints is its commitment to quality and freshness. Unlike some of its competitors, Harvey's prepares each burger to order, ensuring that every patty is hot off the grill and cooked to perfection. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, and you can taste the difference with every bite. Plus, with options like veggie burgers and salads, Harvey's caters to a variety of dietary preferences, making it an inclusive dining destination for everyone.
In terms of atmosphere, Harvey's strikes the right balance between casual and welcoming. The bright and modern interior is inviting, with ample seating for diners to enjoy their meals comfortably. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite between classes or unwinding with friends after a long day of studying, Harvey's provides a relaxed setting where you can kick back and enjoy good food in good company.
Last but not least, let's talk about affordability. As college students on a budget, finding affordable dining options is a top priority, and Harvey's delivers on that front. With wallet-friendly prices and combo deals that won't break the bank, Harvey's makes it easy to indulge in a satisfying meal without draining your bank account.
In conclusion, Harvey's is the ultimate fast-food destination for college students like myself. Whether you're craving a classic burger or something a little more adventurous, Harvey's has something for...
Read moreThis is just the fourth time my Wife and I have decided to dine out from this location. Couldn't tell you the last time I even went to a Harvey's for any food, to be honest. Just isn't a place I go to. First time seemed quite good. Second was seemingly the same. On the third visit, however, this is where my happiness turns up daisies. I bought two classic burgers with no ask or mention if I wanted cheese or bacon. While burgers were being topped, the lid from the mustard bottle decided to take a dirt nap and dive into one of my burgers along with enough mustard for a 10 year old's birthday party. After a quick chuckle from the very young employee, they decided to just carry on and finish the toppings and wrap it up. Bun painted yellow, mustard oozing from all sides. For a moment, I thought, "had I asked for some burger as a topping to my mustard?" "Oh, I''ll just get that when I get home," I sarcastically added. Employee without a clue that this should be considered NOT ACCEPTABLE and make a new one. Nearly had enough mustard, after scrapping it down with a spoon, to fill my half empty bottle in the fridge. Felt guilty all that tangy, yellow gold was gonna be wasted. Such a shame. Also, requested a chocolate shake. Straws make a terrible shake mixing device, BTW. I used the same spoon from the mustard to stir the shake back to something that looked like a chocolate shake. That was weird. Burgers were fine. Now, I understand quite clearly, I'm a grown man. I could certainly have asked for a re-do on the "mustard mishap" but I decided to let it slide and not embarrass the young worker. However, after tonight's debacle, it will be the last time I dine from this location. My wife decided to pick up. We asked for bacon. Once she returned home, she had to open up her burger just to find where the bacon was. So, I did the same and eventually found this. (see fig. 1) There is more bacon on a cow than this incredibly sloppy and horribly assembled Buffalo Chicken Burger. Bacon is a noun and, as google states, can be countable or uncountable. I believe this bacon is uncountable. $1/piece. C'mon. Adding to this burger treachery, it had sauce on only HALF of the western hemisphere. (see fig. 2) It was....flavour, flavour, nothing, nothing, nothing, flav...nothi, flavour. Brutally horrible. I made better works of art when I was 16 working for the Golden Arches. Harvey's @ McLeod, better do an audit of your customer service and quality assurance. This haphazard attention to quality for your customers will likely lead this location to dust. Now my wife is annoyed at me because I left an honest review. I just...
Read moreWent in to get dinner with my family the young gentleman who took our order rushed to take it and misunderstood and added an extra combo to our bill. When I realized the error I asked for it to be removed which is when I met supervisor Lea who met me with an attitude like I was bothering her with my problem. After some back and forth we got the issue figured out. Once our food started coming off the grill it was incorrect which I was met with more attitude from Lea. After an extended effort our food was finally bagged up and we went home only to find out they didn't give us all of our burgers. Now having driven across town I had to go back to the store and have it remade. The young gentleman who had served us (Cole) tried to just bump the burger out to me so he "wouldn't have to involve his manager". When I asked for said manager I was told that Lea was the only manager on shift. Lea continued to ignore me until she realized that I wasn't going away and came over to give me every excuse in the book as to why this was such a bad experience for me. So in the end I finally got the food that I had paid for and got to go home and eat the cold food waiting for me there while I picked up my wife's meal that they forgot to put in the bag. Nothing was done to try and save...
