Garage Pizza — Restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Pizza tasted good and had fresh ingredients. The dough was cooked nicely to a crispy thin crust. When you first open the box and grab a slice it looks really greasy. But it's really the basil and olive oil that is applied on top after the pizza is baked. Which I think is a nice touch and brings out the flavours. Really enjoyed the taste of the pizza.

I would say driving up to the location it was hard to tell if it was open. There isn't much in terms of exterior lighting or signage saying it's open or the hours. The garage door was only half was open. Had to pop in and asked to be certain they were open.

Walked in and placed an order. It did take a while longer than I would have hoped to get there pizza. It was just the one lady working. She was busy taking calls, walk ins, making the pizzas and dealing with payments. So expect a bit of a wait if you walk in, and realise it's not a custom pizza place that churns out a ton of pizzas.

The pizza is good when you get to eat it hot... but I'm not sure it's worth how expensive it is. We can get 2 large pizzas with homemade dough and sauce in our hometown for half what we paid. The customer service was good as well, as they mixed up our wing order and personally brought us the correct order to where we were staying, which was convenient for us! I couldn't give 5 stars because of a general lack of friendliness I recieved from the owner... maybe it's me, but in a world where customer service is #1, I felt coldness verging on rude when I called to let them know about the mix up with the wings, through text message and when they dropped off the wings. I'm happy they rectified their mistake, but they made us feel bad about even mentioning the mistake... in all honesty, I wouldn't go back. Not terrible, but not...

This was a wonderful find while we were staying at the Woodbourne Inn. We were craving pizza and found garage pizza on maps within walking distance. We arrived and were greeted by the two ladies working in the kitchen. The restaurant is literally in a garage; it’s a charming little spot. The menu is quite extensive! We ordered the classic cup pepperoni pizza and hot wings - both were homemade right in front of us and to die for delicious. The blue cheese sauce they serve is some of the best I’ve ever had.
